Jessica Simpson for Elle Magazine
Jessica Simpson will be the cover girl for the September 2008 issue of Elle Magazine. In the issue, Jessica talks about a song she recorded for her new album Do You Know out on September 9th. The track (and possible second single) is called "Remember That" - a beautiful ballad in which Jessica talks about domestic abuse, the lyrics read "It doesn't matter how he hurts you, With his hands or with his words, You don't deserve it, It ain't worth it, Take your heart and run." When asked if she was ever abused in a relationship, she said she did not want to talk about it, but she did say all the songs on the new album were written from personal experience. Hmm... the new issue of Elle hits newsstands August 11th.

Talking about Lady Gaga, I'll take the time to introduce this new artist to those who might not have heard of her yet. Lady Gaga comes from New York City and has recently released her chart-topping debut Akon-produced single "Just Dance" which has been received greatly by the audience peaking at #2 on the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay and Billboard Hot Dance Club Play. The Dark Knight Continues at #1
Batman really is unstopable! The Dark Knight not only came in at #1 this weekend again grossing $75 million, but it is the fastest movie in history to cross the $300 million mark in just ten days. In fact, it is predicted that if the movie keeps this rate worldwide, it will surpass 1997's Titanic as the highest-grossing film of all time. Titanic made 1.8 billion dollars at the box office worldwide.Talking about other movies this weekend, the comedy Step Brothers managed to debut at #2 making a nice $30 million, more than it was predicted. Mamma Mia! Falls to #3 making another $17 million - the film's total is now of $64 million. Another debut was The X-Files: I Want to Believe at #4 which made $10 million this weekend.

Danity Kane Ft. Missy Elliot- "Bad Girl" [Video]
Finally! Danity Kane have premiered the music video for "Bad Girl" - second single taken from their album Welcome to the Dollhouse. We've waited months for this video and I can honestly say it was well worth the wait! This is easily their best video by far, a huge upgrade from the "Damaged" video. Not only do they look pretty damn sexy but I'm also loving the comic book theme. No more talking, check out the video above.
Out Today in Theatres
No competition this weekend for The Dark Knight, which is expected to take in another ridiculous amount of cash during the next three days. So out today is a comedy called Step Brothers starring Will Ferrell... yeah, not that much to say about it... just check out the trailer below.Video of the Week- Pussycat Dolls- "Buttons"
The best video ever from the Pussycat Dolls is now the Video of the Week. "Buttons" was a single taken from their triple platinum debut album PCD. Check out the video, so damn hot!

Jessica Simpson Album Cover
The cover for Jessica Simpson's Do You Know - her debut country album has made its way into the web. I've got a feeling she will end up changing it, 'cause she tends to do that... but I hope she doesn't. The cover just has that country feel naturally and Jessica looks great! Check it out, what'd you think?
The Real World's Jamie is ABC's Samurai Girl
Based on a series of popular young-adult novels, Samurai Girl follows the journey of 19 year-old Heaven (Jamie Chung), the sheltered adoptive daughter on one of Japan's wealthiest and most powerful families. Protected and watched over at all times by her loving but enigmatic father, Heaven is raised in opulent but confined surroundings, with every detail of her life tended to an extravagantly provided for in the tradition of Japan's hierarchal society. But when Heaven finds herself in San Francisco for her arranged wedding to the son of one of her father's business associates, she has no idea that her protected life is about to be shattered and that her past is linked to an ancient secret prophecy which both good and evil forces will fight to the death for control.
Sounds interesting enough to me, I'll definitel be watching this when it premieres on ABC Family this September.
Brooke Hogan @ Chelsea Lately
Brooke Hogan was a guest on E!s Chelsea Lately where she talked about her new VH1 reality show Brooke Knows Best... the currently non-existing relationship with her mother who has been dating a 19 year-old guy that used to go to the same school as her... she also talks about her father, Hulk Hogan, as well as her upcoming EuroPop/R&B-inspired album and her plans of accepting and offer she received to pose nude for Playboy's 55th anniversary cover. Interesting. Check out the interview.

The Hills Season 4 Premieres August 18th
Hot Pick: Kid Rock- "All Summer Long"
It's been many years since this man released a single worth blasting the radio for! Kid Rock, who's been switching to country on and off over the past few years has released the third single from his album Rock N Roll Jesus. The track "All Summer Long" has been taking off nicely not only country radio but also in Top 40 radio, making an instant cross-over. As a result, his album has rocketed back into the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Impressive. It's a great song, check out the video above! Definitely a hot one!
Rihanna- "Disturbia" [Music Video]
And I guess my hopes for "Breakin' Dishes" beaing released as a single have vanished. Rihanna has released the sixth single from her massively successful album Good Girl Gone Bad. The song "Disturbia" is included in the album's re-release along with her past single, the chrat-topping "Take a Bow". About this new music video, it's Rihanna like you've never seen her before! Great stuff, check it out.

Jessica Simpson Not Booed at Country Thunder
Here is the video proving that Jessica Simpson was NOT booed at her country music debut at the Country Thunder music festival in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. Not only was she well-received by the audience, the festival management was so pleased with her performance that they want her back next year, according to a festival spokesperson.
“All this bad press is coming from one newspaper report, and it’s not true,” the spokesperson said. “She did an amazing job!”
On top of that, NONE of the on-line publications (with the exception of us and People) were even AT the event! Don’t believe the lies people! Check out our videos so you can see for yourself.
In the first video Simpson told the audience that she was going to sing two more songs, but then decided only to sing one more. To that people in the audience shouted “no” because they wanted to hear more!
When Jess asked if they want two they shouted “yes” and there was no booing. When Simpson said she’d sing two more songs people cheered. Huge thanks to These Boots are Made for Stalking for the article.
And there you have it! Perez Hilton can go lick a nut now. :)

The Dark Knight Owns the Box Office!
The Dark Knight is the new box office king.Exceeding initial expectations, the film went on to shatter records left and right this weekend.
The most notable: the new Batman film is now the biggest debut ever in U.S. box office history, especially impressive for an opening on a non-holiday weekend.
The Dark Knight took in $155.34 million Fri-Sun.
That beats Spider-Man 3's $151.1 million in 2007.
perezhilton.com
Wow! Unbelievable. The movie IS definitely one of the best ones I've seen in years! If not the best. Christian Bale, Heath Ledger and Maggie Gylenhall are terrific on this film! If you haven't seen it, go do so! I'm planning on going to see this one again next week. For a full box office report, click here.
Nelly Ft. Ashanti & Akon- "Body on Me" [Video]
Nelly has released the third single from his still-unreleased album Brass Knuckles. The past singles have been the tracks "Wadsyaname" and "Party People" which featured multi-platinum singer Fergie. Now, he's got a new track out with a collaboration with Ashanti and Akon. Unfortunately, Nelly's past two singles have failed to impact at radio or become chart-toppers... and if this song fails to catch also, his fans should worry as it will be likely that no album will be released. So, here's the new video for "Body on Me". Check it out.

This song can't get any more addictive! "Sexy Movimiento" was one of the singles taken from reggeaton duo Wisin & Yandel's extremely successful album, Los Extraterrestres. The official remix of the song features Nelly Furtado singing in spanish, and it makes the song that much better. Check out the unofficial music video above. Great stuff.

The Dark Knight Beating Records All Around
Warner Bros.' Batman: The Dark Knight is going to be H-U-G-E.We mentioned last week that industry experts estimate a $130 million opening weekend for the flick (or possibly higher).
Here are more stats that prove just how big this weekend will be for the film:
- 4,366 screens across North America will be playing the Heath Ledger starring movie. Hollywood insiders say that's an industry record!
- Fandango (which sells tickets to more than 15,000 theater screens) reports that The Dark Knight accounts for an impressive 90% of all ticket sales for the upcoming weekend. Dayum! Hope y'all got your tickets early like we did!
- MovieTickets.com says The Dark Knight has sold out 700 performances in North America and is outselling 3 of MovieTickets.com’s Top 10 Performing Films of All-Time. To date, the newest Batman has more than 3-times as many advance tickets as Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, more than 2-times as many as Spider-Man 3 and almost 2-times as many as Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers at the same point in the sales cycle.
We're very much looking forward to seeing the film!
Source: Perezhilton.com
Well, looks like I'm going to have to pre-order my tickets right now. There's no way in hell I'll miss this movie this weekend! On to other news, critics are predicting Heath Ledger to be nominated for an Academy Award for his amazing performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight.

Jessica Simpson is getting ready to not only launch her debut country album, Do You Know, this 9th of September, but she's also more than ready to launch what will be her new line of perfume called Fancy, currently set to hit stores on August 15th. Check out a few ads that have surfaced of Jessica and her fragrance. They're fancy alright.
Hayden Panettiere- "Wake Up Call" [Music Video]
Another actress crosses over to the Pop world, which we all know has gotten pretty lame over the past years. The gorgeous Hayden Panettiere is giving the music world a shot and she has released the music video for "Wake Up Call" - lead single from her upcoming debut album. The song, in my opinion, is pretty mediocre... but she's so damn good looking that I kind of forgot to listen to the song while watching the video. Check it out, you be the judge.

Keri Hilson- "Energy" [Music Video]
I know we remember Keri Hilson for being on the #1 hit "The Way I Are" with Timbaland. Well, she's now giving her own music a shot and has released the music video for "Energy", the lead single from her debut album In a Perfect World... out this September. The song is a nice R&B track, not my favorite, but many will find it very likeable. Check it out!

Daughtry- "What About Now" [Music Video]
Chris Daughtry and his band are trying to juice out every ounce of sucess left in their debut album Daughtry. The album, which was released in late 2006, has scored five chart-topping singles and has sold over four million copies in the U.S. alone. Now the band is releasing one of thise chart-topping singles as the final music video from this album. The song "What About Now" was used as a charity single on Idol Gives Back, and Dauhgtry have now decided to officially release it as a single. The music video is very realistic and sad to say the least. Check it out, you'll like this.

Weekend Box Office Report
Low #1 opening for a July movie - not to worry though, The Dark Knight is predicted to have the biggest opening of the summer next week. Can't wait. Well, that low #1 opening went to Hell Boy 2: The Golden Army. The film grossed in $35 million despite good reviews from critics. Very close at #2 we find Will Smith in Hancock, that film made another impressive $33 million on its second weekend in release, its now total is of $165 million. Another low opening was at #3, in which the Journey to the Center of the Earth opened with just $20 million made - not too far away from WALL-E at #4 which made $18 million this weekend, the film's total stands at $163 million. We're awiting the movie's release worldwide! Hope it's soon. To check out a full report, click here.

Jessica Simpson- "Come on Over" [Music Video]
We finally got the music video to "Come on Over" - Jessica Simpson's debut country single. The song has gotten mainly positive reviews from critics and has even been called "single of the year" by AllAcess. The music video is fresh and it stays true to not only the song but mostly the genre. Aside from being a great and simple music video, Jessica looks absolutely gorgeous. Check it out! This is one of her best videos and songs to date.
Listen to Kristy Lee Cook's Debut Single!
Click here to listen to "15 Minutes of Shame" Yellowcard- "Only One" : Video of the Week
Picking one of my all-time favorite tracks as the new Video of the Week. "Only One" was the fourth single taken from Yellowcard's album Ocean Avenue, which achieved double platinum status back in 2004. Not only are the lyrics on this song incredible, but the melody is great! Unfortunately for us Yellowcard fans, the band was pronounced in hiatus and no further plans of releasing any other albums have surfaced. Bummer! *MP3 for this song available upon request*

Hitting Theatres Today! 7/11/08
Hellboy 2: The Golden Army is ready to make its debut in the big screen! When a truce between humanity and an invisible realm of fantasy is broken, destruction threatens the Earth. A leader from the realm, Prince Nuada, defies his bloodline and summons an army of creatures to lay waste. Hellboy (Ron Perlman) must confront Nuada and his army, being backed by his team members from the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense: Liz Sherman (Selma Blair), Abe Sapien (Doug Jones) and Johann Kraus. The team travels between Earth and the fantasy realm, battling fantastical creatures. Hellboy is faced with a choice, following the life he knows or pursuing a life of unknown destiny. Does it sound interesting enough? I never saw the first film, but after reading the great reviews this movie has received I'm thinking about catching up and going out to see this one.
Another film out today is The Journey to the Center of the Earth. This 3D film has received mixed reviews from critics. The plot revolves around Trevor (Brendan Fraser) is a volcanologist whose nephew, Sean (Josh Hutcherson), is supposed to spend ten days with him, which Trevor forgot about. When Sean's mother drops him off she leaves Trevor with a box of items which belonged to Max, Trevor's brother and Sean's father,, who died years before. Sean suddenly takes interest in what Trevor has to say after he tells him about his father whom he never really got a chance to know. Trevor discovers in the box the novel Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne. Inside the book Trevor finds notes written by his late brother. Trevor goes to his lab to find out more about the notes. There he realizes that he must go to Iceland to see it for himself. After much insistence from Sean, he brings Sean along for the adventure which starts by visiting another volcanologist. When they get to that scientist's lab they meet his daughter, Hannah (Anita Briem), who offers to help them climb up to the volcano. While hiking the mountain Trevor, Sean, and Hannah fall into a deep pit, taking them to the "center of the Earth." After crossing the underground ocean they encounter a dinosaur. Subsequently the temperature of the center of the earth starts to rise and they must make a daring escape before the temperature reaches 130 degrees.

Blogging for a Good Cause
Millions of fur-bearing animals including foxes, raccoons, minks, coyotes, bobcats, lynxes, opossums, nutria, beavers, muskrats, otters, and others are killed each year on fur farms by anal and vaginal electrocution and in the wild by drowning, trapping, or beating.
Animals like their fur! And they don't want to die so that anyone else can wear it! Visit http://www.furisdead.com/ or http://www.peta.org/ to find out how you can help stop this form of animal cruelty.
[MP3] Ali Lohan- "All The Way Around"

The younger Lohan is making an attempt to make it big on the music industry! 14 year-old Ali Lohan has been hard at work on what will be her debut album to be released later this year - and if you have kept up with her reality show Living Lohan on E! then you've seen that she's influenced by R&B and Pop music like that from her sister Lindsay, Rihanna and Chris Brown. Now, Ali's debut single has leaked and it's called "All The Way Around" - I think it's a good song and if it catches on radios she will have a crack at success. She actaully reminds me a lot of JoJo. Check out the song! Enjoy. Thanks to Jonny for link.

Hot Pick: Leona Lewis- "Better in Time"
Leona Lewis is well on her way of becoming the best new artist of the past year. The singer topped the charts world wide with her debut single "Bleeding Love" and is now back with a new single to return to the #1 spot. "Better in Time" serves as the second single taken from her already Platinum album Spirit. It's a wonderful song, in fact, I like it more than her past single. The video could be a little better, but I'm not complaining. Check it out. Definitely hot.
Jamie Lynn Spears on the Cover of OK!
Mother and daughter look gorgeous on the cover of OK! magazine, but it's still hard to get over the fact that Jamie Lynn Spears is only 17 years-old and already a mother. She looks so young in the picture that it almost looks like as if she was holding a baby doll. Or more like a baby holding a baby. Check out the cover above.

The Winner of Hell's Kitchen 4
I'm sure millions of people kept up with this season (4) of Fox's hit show Hell's Kitchen. The season finale aired tonight (July 8) and Chef Gordon Ramsay crowned Christina Machamer as the winner - a 25 year-old culinary teacher from St. Louis, Missouri. Being the winner, Chritina will be installed as a "senior sous chef" with a $250,000 salary at Gordon Ramsay at the London West Hollywood Restaurant. In the end, the winning decision was made with Chef Ramsay saying that he looks to the future for his decisions. He felt that, in this instance, Christina had more potential than Petrozza. Congratulations to Christina for the big win.
