The Dark Knight Continues at #1

Batman really is unstopable! The Dark Knight not only came in at #1 this weekend again grossing $75 million, but it is the fastest movie in history to cross the $300 million mark in just ten days. In fact, it is predicted that if the movie keeps this rate worldwide, it will surpass 1997's Titanic as the highest-grossing film of all time. Titanic made 1.8 billion dollars at the box office worldwide.

Talking about other movies this weekend, the comedy Step Brothers managed to debut at #2 making a nice $30 million, more than it was predicted. Mamma Mia! Falls to #3 making another $17 million - the film's total is now of $64 million. Another debut was The X-Files: I Want to Believe at #4 which made $10 million this weekend.
