Miley Cyrus Beats Sugarland for the #1 Album
It was an extremely close race for the new #1 album this week as Miley Cyrus' Breakout and Sugarland's Love on the Inside hit stores last Tuesday. By Wednesday, thanks to one-day predictions, it was reported that both albums would easily surpass the 300,000 mark and would be a close fight for that #1 spot... and it looks like Pop beats Country this week as Miley Cyrus managed to sell 366,000 copies during the week compared to Sugarland's 308,000 copies. Although Sugarland will be at #2 on the Billboard 200 album chart, it will be the #1 album on Billboard's Hot Country Albums chart, so two number ones this week! Congrats!!
