Usher- "Moving Mountains" [Music Video]

Usher released the music video for his newest single "Moving Mountains" last week. The song serves as the second single from his album Here I Stand, in stores now. The music video is a continuation of his previous video for "Love in This Club", where the club has burned down. Usher is seen going after the girl on his cell phone from "Love in This Club" and it reveals that they actually have some kind of past together. The video ends with Usher on a mountain as another cliffhanger. Interesting. Check this one out. Enjoy.

Madonna- "Give it 2 Me" Sneak Peek

After the massive success of "4 Minutes" featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, Madonna decided to make "Give it 2 Me" the second single from her already Gold album Hard Candy. The single is upbeat and will likely be accepted nicely on radio, this will probably become another chart-topper for Madonna. The video looks like a typical Madonna video, check it out. Can't wait to see the whole thing.

Carrie Underwood + David Cook Commercials

Season 4 American Idol winner, Carrie Underwood is featured in a new commercial promoting the Pink Nintendo DS and its game Nintendogs. The commercial has been on heavy rotation in the US. Check it out above.

Now, Season 7 Idol champ, David Cook is also featured in a new video game commercial. The singer taped a commercial for Guitar Hero while on American Idol, but since winning, the commercial has continued to air on cable. Check this one out too, it's a parody of Tom Cruise in Risky Business. Enjoy.

Hitting the Big Screen on Friday

Sex and the City goes to the big screen! For the die-hard fans of the TV series, you can finally enjoy Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda on the big screen. For who followed the series during its run, you know that the movie is set four years after the events of "An American Girl in Paris, Part Deux". Thus far, the movie has received good reviews, but the public has the last say. Will this be a box office hit? We'll see.

Also opening this Friday is The Strangers, a horror thriller that revolves around a young couple staying in an isolated vacation home are terrorized by three unknown masked assailants.
The Strangers claims to be based on true "events that took place in the Hoyt family's vacation home at 1801 Clark Road on February 11, 2005." This is based on the official website of the movie. This actually sounds interesting, I think I'll be watching this films over the weekend.

Jessica Simpson Accepted by Country Radio

Looks like new country singer Jessica Simpson will have no problem at all rising to the top of the country charts. On day two of her new single's release, "Come on Over" has already surpased the one million mark in audience and the song is taking off in country radio surprisingly well. In fact, it's doing better than country veteran Kellie Pickler's new single "Don't You Know You're Beautiful". If Jessica's single continues rising at this pace, it will be the most added song to country radio next week and will look forward to an easy high debut on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for the next issue. Congrats to Jessica.

David Cook to Have 11 Billboard Hot 100 Debuts

Season seven American Idol champion David Cook will set a record for debut entries on the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Digital Songs tomorrow as 11 titles enter the former, while 14 songs jump on the download tally. The onslaught is led by a No. 3 Hot 100 start for his original recording "The Time of My Life", which shifts 236,000 downloads to easily take the No. 1 spot on Hot Digital Songs.

Cook's takeover of the Hot 100 shatters the mark for debuts set by Miley Cyrus (as Hannah Montana) in the Nov. 11, 2006, issue, when she placed six new titles on the list. The 11 songs on the chart are the most in a week by any artist in the Nielsen Music era, which began in December 1991 when the chart converted to Nielsen BDS and Nielsen SoundScan data.

That's incredible. Here's the list of Cook's songs to debut on the Billboard Hot 100:

Cook's 11 Hot 100 entries (the top four are all top 40 debuts):

"The Time of My Life"
"Dream Big"
"I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"
"The World I Know"
"I Don't Want to Miss a Thing"
"Billie Jean"
"Always Be My Baby"
"Hello"
"Music of the Night"
"Eleanor Rigby"
"I'm Alive"

[First Listen] Jessica Simpson- "Come on Over"

A new Jessica Simpson track has leaked. Some say it's the first single from her upcoming Country album debut but nothing has been officially confirmed yet. What we do know is that the song is new and it's here for everyone to hear. The track is called "Come on Over" and it's pure country. If this song is the first single I think it will be received greatly on Country radios and by its audience. Jessica is known to make some pretty crappy music in the past (specially with her past album A Public Affair) but this song is an absolute upgrade. To listen to Jessica's first country song, click here and the tell me what you think of it. I'm pleasently surprised, loving the song. The Best Damn Blog's rating: 4/5

Update: It's been confirmed that the song is, in fact, the first single from what will be Simpson's debut country album to be released this September. The track, "Come on Over", has just been released to immediate rotation in country radios.

Ryan Cabrera- "Say" [Music Video]

Good song, dissapointing music video. Ryan Cabrera has unvealed the video for "Say" which is the lead single from his third studio album The Moon Under Water, in stores now. Like I said, the song is really good but the music video was clearly made on a very cheap budget. He's not to blame though, his album was received poorly by the public and only managed to make a debut at #117 on the Billboard 200 - ouch! Aside from this, Ryan's look is awkward, dude looks like a lady! Really. Check it out.

Hot Pick: 3 Doors Down- "It's Not My Time"

This song has been getting played a lot on my iPod recently. 3 Doors Down's self-titled fourth studio album was released last Tuesday and it is expected to make a splash at #1 on this week's Billboard 200 albums selling well over 160,000 copies. The lead single is the #1 song "It's Not My Time", that as I said, has become one of my favorites not only from the group, but as of lately. Check out the music video above, definitely a hot pick.

Kellie Pickler Update

Kellie Pickler's MySpace page has been updated quite a lot with new graphics and of course, the new single "Don't You Know You're Beautiful" from which they've uploaded a very nice and colorful graphic that I'm posting above. The single has already begun taking off in Country radios and her album is expected to drop late this summer. If' you want to take a listen to the single, visit her MySpace.

Hot Pick: Katy Perry- "I Kissed a Girl"

I know a lot of readers have not heard of Katy Perry until now. In fact, most of us didn't know who she was until she released the Dr. Luke-produced single "I Kissed a Girl" which has begun to blow up at radio and it's on its way to the top of the charts in the US of A. The track is included in Katy's to-be-released album One of the Boys. It's a great catchy song with a very interesting story. Check out the music video above. You must.

Michelle Williams- "We Break The Dawn" [Video]

This was Unexpected - like the name of her upcoming third studio album. The ex-Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams has released "We Break The Dawn" lead single from her album release in August, that as I said, will be called Unexpected. For this song, Michelle has moved on to more upbeat stuff that will be accepted better by the public. I hope this one turns to be a success for her. Check out the video, good stuff.

Indiana Jones' Massive #1 Debut

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was released on Thursday, and since then the movie has grossed in a total of 126 million dollars! That's incredible, way to make a come back to the big screen! The movie was made on a $185 million dollar budget, but they're not going to have any problem getting that cash back and making a huge profit in the end. Now, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian falls to #2 taking in $23 million to add up to their now total of $91 million. However, the movie's total world wide stands at $113 million so far, they still have a bit to get to their budget of $200 million. Moving on to one of the most successful flicks this summer, Iron Man at #3, check this out, the movie has now grossed $252 million in the US but world wide it has collected 460 million dollars! That's major!! Huge numbers right there. To check out a full chart, click here.

Daniel Powter- "Bad Day" Video of the Week

You might remember Daniel Powter from his 2006 hit single "Bad Day". The song came to fame as it was used as the elimination song during the fifth season of American Idol. The single eventually reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 being certified five times platinum at the time (2 million digital downloads which today would be a certification of two times platinum). His self-titled debut album reached nearly the 500,000 sales being ceritified Gold, and although being a great singer, Powter is considered a one-hit wonder. Check out the music video for "Bad Day" above, the new Video of the Week. *Mp3 available upon request*

David Cook- "Time of My Life" Live @ American Idol

For those who have yet to see it, here's the winner announcement and then David Cook performing what is his already #1 debut single "The Time of My Life", good song, it's pretty much like every other American Idol winner song in the past. Check out the performance, very touching.

George Michael- "Praying For Time" @ Idol

For those who don't remember or never knew George Michael, he was a widely successful singer back in the 80s, and he was brought back to American Idol stage last night where he performed one of his most recognized singles "Praying For Time", as you might recall, Carrie Underwood performed that song live at the Idol Gives Back special last month. Check out the performance... and Paula Abdul crying here eyes out. Enjoy. For his fans, Michael also announced a summer tour, check his website for more info.

Pussycat Dolls Live @ Jimmy Kimmel

The very sexy Pussycat Dolls have performed their new single "When I Grow Up" live for the first time at Jimmy Kimmel. The song, as I said before, won't make as huge an impact as their past singles, but it will definitely be a chart-topper. It's catchy, and it's coming from the Dolls! That's enough for it to become a hit. Check out the performance, great stuff.

David Cook's First Release Goes Straight to #1

It's immediate success for the new American Idol, David Cook. His first single "The Time of My Life" has sky-rocketed to the #1 spot on iTunes Top 100 songs. Cook reached the top in a matter of hours assuring his debut on the Top 10 on next week's Billboard Hot 100. This is massively insane, David Cook will have huge success once his albums drops, and I can't wait. The good news just don't stop for David. Congrats.

Carrie Underwood- "Last Name" @ American Idol

From the winner of season 8 to the winner of the fourth season. Carrie Underwood returned to American Idol for the sixth time since she won the title in 2005, this time to perform her new single "Last Name". Not only did Carrie do a great job, but she looked incredible. Girl has great legs. Check it out.

David Cook & ZZ Top- "Sharp Dressed Man" @ Idol

The new American Idol, David Cook took the stage last night with rock legend ZZ Top. This performance was the absolute best from the entire season. Words can not describe how awesome this was. Check out above their performance of "Sharp Dressed Man" last night at the American Idol finale. Amazing.

David Cook Wins American Idol!

Winner of American Idol 2008
David Cook

It was a great two-hour show packed with incredible performances that I'll be posting, when they're up on YouTube, as always. Not only were there huge stars like George Michael, OneRepublic, ZZ Top but also fellow alum Carrie Underwood returned to the Idol stage as well as Jordin Sparks and the rest of Season 7's Top 12 finalists. The time to announce the winner came and there was a bigger difference than expected. Nearly a hundred million votes were casted (which is a new world record) and David Cook was announced the winner by a 12 million votes difference. Cook received 54% to David Archuleta's 46%. Once the results were announced, Cook stepped aside and clapped for Archuleta, he then went on to bow down and broke to tears, clearly overwhelmed for winning the title of American Idol. After composing himself, he said "This is amazing, thank you!". Cook closed the show performing "Time of My Life" - this year's winning song which will be made available on iTunes soon.

I honestly thought David Archuleta would be the winner based on last night. However, I knew if people voted right for what they have done the entire season then David Cook would win by a broad margin - and that's exactly what happened. I actually haven't been this happy for an Idol winner since Carrie won Season 4. Can't wait for Cook's album to hit stores this fall.

Poll Results:

Who will you vote for on Idol?
David Cook :: 55% (60 votes)
David Archuleta :: 45% (50 votes)
total votes: 110

Guess we had it right! Thanks for voting, and again, congrats Cook!

Hot Pick: Sara Bareilles- "Bottle it Up"

Sara Bareilles released a new music video! The follow-up to her monster single "Love Song" is the song called "Bottle it Up". The song is really good, I actually prefer it to her previous single. I like to call Sara Bareilles the new and improved Vanessa Carlton. This is a great song and video, check it out.

Whitney Thompson on Seventeen Magazine

America's Next Top Model winner Whitney Thompson will make her appearance on the July cover of Seventeen magazine where she not only shows her smokin' body, but also talks about winning Top Model and her desires of not stopping until the modeling industry is changed to favor full-figured models. Whitney has become an icon for girls who've got some junk in the trunk out there, she is well on her way to changing the way modeling treats bigger girls. Once again, congrats to Whitney.

New Single Covers

We've got two of the most awaited-for musical comebacks for this year. Lindsay Lohan will release her third studio album with the lead single being the upbeat track called "Bossy", which is expected to hit radios in coming weeks. The single cover for that single can be found above.
Now, the Pussycat Dolls, whom I like to call the sexiest female group of all-time will also return to the music scene [now with five girls] with their new single "When I Grow Up". The Dolls will perform this track on Jimmy Kimmel on May 20th, as well as the MTV Movie Awards on June 1st. This ought to be interesting. Check out the single cover above.

Carrie Underwood- Live @ ACM Awards [fixed]

Here's the video of Carrie Underwood performing her hit single "Last Name" last night in Las Vegas at the Academy of Country Music Awards, where she walked out with the award for Top Female Vocalist. The video's quality is not as good as I'd like it to be, but it's all we've got so far. I will update the video once a better quality has been uploaded into YouTube. About the performace, Carrie did great, as always. She was dressed like a female Elvis, very interesting. Check it out. Sorry about the poor quality.

Kellie Pickler Debuts New Single @ ACM Awards

Country's sweetest star, Kellie Pickler debuted her brand new single called "Dont You Know You're Beautiful?" last night at the Academy of Country Music Awards. The song is definitely different from what she recorded for Small Town Girl - and perhaps will be received even better by Country radio making this song Kellie's first Top 10 hit. Her album is currently set to be released during late summer, and I'm sure it's going to do great. Check out the performance, loving the song. It holds a great message.

Carrie Underwood and Brad Pasley Live @ ACMs

[fixed]

Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley got together once again to perform a tribute to one of country music's biggest stars who passed away less than two weeks ago. The two singers who were nominated for a 2008 Grammy for their duet entiled "Oh Love", performed the classic "Make The World Go Away" in honor of Mr. Eddie Arnold at the Academy of Country Music Awards last night. Great performance, enjoy!

Kenny Chesney Live @ ACM Awards

Kenny Chesney and George Strait performed their chart-topping duet "Shiftwork" last night at the 43rd Academy of Country Music Awards. The performance was really good, check it out.

Taylor Swift Live @ ACM Awards [fixed]

Taylor Swift performed her fifth single from her already triple platinum self-titled debut. The track is another boy-bashing song entitled "Should've Said No"... it's a great song and I was hoping she would release this as a single. The performance was great, specially at the end where Taylor stood under falling water that spelled out several lyrics from the song. Great performance, check it out.

Sugarland Live @ the 43rd ACM Awards

Country's hottest duo, Sugarland performed their newest single "All I Want to Do" at the 43rd Academy of Country Music Awards. The song is the first single from their upcoming album release Love on the Inside. This song is very catchy and I'm sure it will catch on country radio fast and become their third number one hit. It's just a great song. Enjoy.

43rd Academy of Country Music Awards: Winners!

The show was long but great! It was three hours packed with amazing performances that I'll be posting tomorrow as they surface on YouTube. Now, let's talk about the winners. These include Sugarland - duo that took home two awards: Single Record of the Year and Song of the Year for their song "Stay". Country's newest and youngest sensation, Taylor Swift took home the award for Top New Female Vocalist. Brad Paisley was also the recepient of two trophies, one for Music Video of the Year for "Online" and the other for Top Male Vocalist of the Year. The Top Female Vocalist of the Year award was handed out to Carrie Underwood for the second year in a row, and for the fourth consecutive time, Kenny Chesney received the award for Entertainer of the Year. The shocker of the night was the winner of Album of the Year which was given out to Miranda Lambert for her album Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. She, as the rest of us, was shocked as we all thought the award would be given to Kenny Chesney. Let's not forget to mention that Rascal Flatts was awarded with the Top Vocal Group of the Year. To check out a complete list of winners, click here.

Hilary Duff on Los Angeles Confidential

It's been quite a bit since we've seen or heard anything from one of the most loved ex-teen stars out there, Hilary Duff. Suddenly, the 20 year-old actress and singer appears on L.A. Confidential looking gorgeous! She's grown up to be a beautiful woman. Check out the cover above.

Academy of Country Music Awards - Tonight!

The 43rd annual of the Academy of Country Music Awards is set to air Live tonight at 8PM Eastern time on CBS. Performing tonight are some of country's biggest stars today like Rodney Atkins, Dolly Parton, Kellie Pickler, Sugarland, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood. Don't forget to tune in, this ought to be a great show - hosted by Reba McEntire.

Weekend Box Office: Narnia on Top

We've got a new #1 flick for the first time in two weeks! That's right, with a debut of $56 million The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian was able to overtake Iron Man who fell to #2 making another $31 million which gives the film a total of $222 million grossed so far. That's major! Then there's What Happens in Vegas who falls one spot to #3 making an additional $13 million which added up to $40 millions so far. And the shame of the year, Speed Racer which fell to #4 after Warner Bros. lied about their real debut total last week so they could have a #2 debut. Reality is that Speed Racer debuted at #3 and it now has grossed only $24 million dollars. Ouch! For a full report, click here.

Carrie Underwood Update

Carrie Underwood will make her fifth appearance on the newest cover of Country Weekly Magazine, check out that cover above and pick up a copy of it once it's on newstands.

On to other news, Underwood has scored yet another endorsement deal, this time with Nintendo DS. Carrie along with Ugly Betty star America Ferrara will appear on a nation-wide commercial promoting the Metallic Pink Nintendo DS which was released late last year. It doesn't stop there though. The Idol champ will also take the stage tomorrow night (May 18th) at the Academy of Country Music Awards, where she will perform her newest Top 10 hit "Last Name" - and will compete for the Female Vocalist of the Year award. Busy woman, I wish her luck tomorrow night. Also, check out these ACM promo outtakes with Brad Paisley. Must check them out!

Out Now: The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Prince Caspian is being released today after the massive success of the first film The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. And althought the first movie received great reviews, the case with Prince Caspian are not exactly the same. Metacritic gave the movie a 64 out of 100 based on 28 reviews... that's below average and eleven points lower than the first film. Either way, I'm sure it's going to be a huge box office hit. Check out the official movie trailer below. Enjoy.

[MP3] Pussycat Dolls- "When I Grow Up"

They're back sooner than we expected them, and all thanks to Nicole Scherzinger and her debut album which wasn't even released because radio stations failed to pick up any of her three released singles. Ouch. Good thing is that the Pussycat Dolls are back! Their new single called "When I Grow Up" has recently leaked and I already see this song becoming a hit! It's definitely an uptempo track that will get you dancing in your chair. I doubt it will make as big as an impact as "Don't Cha" or "Buttons", but it's got definite hit potential. I'm posting the MP3, but PLEASE, when available on iTunes and other digital music stores, legally purchase it! Enjoy. MP3 link thanks to Jonny.

Idol Poll Time! Who Will You Vote For?

The finale of American Idol is next week, and as we all now know, the final two contestants are David Cook and David Archuleta. Now, I'm curious as to who visitors of this blog will most likely vote for next week. I've said it numerous times, no matter what, I'm voting for David Cook - now I want to know your opinion and you can also see what everyone else thinks. Vote away!

Happy Birthday to The Best Damn Blog

It's been a wonderful year for The Best Damn Blog. Yes, we had a very slow start, but in a blink of an eye visitors picked up and I'm extremely thankful for that. I wouldn't be blogging anymore if it wasn't for the positive response I've gotten over the past year from those loyal visitors that have been here since the beginning and those who never fail to check back. You all know who you are, and I want to say: Thank you! Also, without knowing it, everyone who visited the Blog yesterday and continue to do so today have given the blog the perfect Birthday present! A new one-day page views record. Previously, the busiest day was back in December, where the page received 993 views in a single day. However, yesterday - that record ws broken! Yup, May 15th, 2008 is our busiest day now with over 1,200 page views! Thanks, one more time. I appreciate it a bunch. So, Happy Birthday to the Best Damn Blog and here's to one more year of excitement and success! =D

Kellie Pickler Photos for Nashville Scene

American Idol finalist Kellie Pickler has recently done a very sexy photoshoot for Nashville Scene magazine. Pickler looks gorgeous in a swimsuit, the girl has an amazing body. I'm drooling! While I take deep breaths, I'll update on her music career. Kellie is ready to release new material following the success of her Platinum debut album Small Town Girl. It's been announced that the lead single from her upcoming and still-untitled sophomore album will be a song called "Don't You Know You're Beautiful?". The song - which she described to be great and different from anything she's ever recorded before - is to make its debut on Country radio stations this June. However, Kellie will debut the song live on May 18th at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Can't wait for that. For now, enjoy the pictures... I definitely am.

Coldplay- "Violet Hill" [Full Music Video]

Finally! The full-length music video for "Violet Hill" has been released. The song is the first single from Coldplay's upcoming album Viva la Vida or Death and all His Friends. In fact, the single made a debut inside the Top 40 of this week's Billboard Hot 100 chart thanks to the amount of digital downloads the song got over the past week. As I've said before, the song is amazing. Enjoy.

Fantasia- "Bore Me" Live @ American Idol

Season 3 American Idol winner returned to the Idol stage last night to perform "Bore Me", and hell, we were everything but bored with her performance. Fantasia Barrino either had the devil in her or was plain drunk. The performance was a trainwreck and extremely weird to say the least. What I liked most was Simon Cowell's facial reaction to her perfomance, priceless! He was thinking "What has gotten in her...?", you gotta see this. Try not to laugh or freak out. Enjoy, you definitely will.

American Idol: The Battle of the Davids

With Syesha's elimination, the final two contestants standing on American Idol are the two men tha never were found inside the bottom three during their stay in the entire competition. 17 year-old David Archuleta will face off 25 year-old David Cook for the title of the next American Idol. At this point, you can not tell who the winner will be, not even close to leaning a way or the other because both contestants have an incredibly huge fan base. I feel like David Cook has done more than enough to win this competition, he has taken more risks, and that's what makes an artist successful. Archuleta on the other hand, I feel like is a very good singer but he has absolutely no personality and to be honest, he might have a great voice, but he's only good for ballads. Let's face it, he sucks at singing anything else. No matter what they perform next week, my vote will be for David Cook - and I've said this since he performed "Billie Jean" during Top 10 week. Cook for the win! I said it before: it's about time we have a good rocker win this competition!

And America's Next Top Model Is...

Another season has come to an end! The episode started out with CoverGirl commercials and photshoots in which Anya got her fifth overall first call-out and landed Whitney and Fatima in the bottom two, both for the fourth time. Fatima was then eliminated and took third place. The final two then went on to shoot a Seventeen Magazine cover and do their final runway. In the end, the judges decided to finally make a plus-sized model the winner of America's Next Top Model for the first time in ten cycles. I'm glad Whitney won, it's about time a regular-sized girl won instead of another skinny chick. Whitney has a great body and she is gorgeous. This is a huge upgrade from last season's winner. Congrats Whitney and to Anya for making it so far without never being in the bottom 2. Very good season overall. To those who have watched every season of Top Model, note that Anya's run on the show was EXACTLY the same as Joanie's from cycle 6. Yup, ironic isn't it?

P.S. Look out for Whitney in the July issue of Seventeen Magazine and soon to be in a huge billboard in Times Square in New York City with the following CoverGirl ad.

Coldplay- Violet Hill [Music Video Sneak Peek]

I've grown to love this song a lot! It's incredible. Coldplay are getting ready to release the music video for "Violet Hill", lead single from their album Viva la Vida or Death and all His Friends. The video looks good, but the song is incredible. Can't wait to see the whole thing.

Maroon 5 ft. Rihanna- "If I Never See Your Face Again" [Music Video]

Maroon 5 have released the music video from their latest album It Won't Be Soon Before Long. The song is called "If I Never See Your Face Again", which now features one of the most successful singles artists out there, Rihanna. It's a great song with a very nice video. You must check this one out.

Indiana Jones To Make Huge Debut

Iron Man's numbers will be nothing compared to what Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is expected to take in during this weekend. According to reports and predictions, the film will take in a MINIMUM of 162 million dollars! That's massive! We'll see how much they'll make! Can't wait.

Carrie Underwood, Vitamin Water Ad

Here is another Vitamin Water ad from Carrie Underwood. Nice, not my favorite, but it's very nice.

Lindsay Lohan- "Bossy"... New Single?

A song called "Bossy" has leaked that is rumored to be Lindsay Lohan's first single from her upcoming still untitled third studio album. Some say it's the first single, others say it might not even be included in the album... either way, it's the first song we've heard from Lohan in years. The track is very dance, electro-pop mixed with some 80s and techno. Some people are going to like it, others will hate it. I find the song to be average and I hope she releases something better as a first single; "Bossy" does not have that hit potential, although it could do really well in clubs. Check out the song. *MP3 available only upon request*

Box Office Report: Iron Man is Unstoppable at #1

For the second week in a row, Paramount's Iron Man takes the #1 spot grossing the most money this past weekend at the box office. Making another $50 million, the movie's grand total stands at nearly $180 million so far. Incredible. That Warner Bros. film Speed Racer debuted at #2 making a dissapointing 20.2 million dollars, and I say dissapointing because the film was made on a budget close to 200 million dollars, crazy! If this movie is not a hit overseas, the company will have lost tons of money. We'll see how they'll do. Now, What Happens in Vegas made its debut at #3 making $20.0 million, which is not as bad because the movie's budget was of only $35 million - they'll make that back and have a good profit in a couple of weeks.
