43rd Academy of Country Music Awards: Winners!

The show was long but great! It was three hours packed with amazing performances that I'll be posting tomorrow as they surface on YouTube. Now, let's talk about the winners. These include Sugarland - duo that took home two awards: Single Record of the Year and Song of the Year for their song "Stay". Country's newest and youngest sensation, Taylor Swift took home the award for Top New Female Vocalist. Brad Paisley was also the recepient of two trophies, one for Music Video of the Year for "Online" and the other for Top Male Vocalist of the Year. The Top Female Vocalist of the Year award was handed out to Carrie Underwood for the second year in a row, and for the fourth consecutive time, Kenny Chesney received the award for Entertainer of the Year. The shocker of the night was the winner of Album of the Year which was given out to Miranda Lambert for her album Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. She, as the rest of us, was shocked as we all thought the award would be given to Kenny Chesney. Let's not forget to mention that Rascal Flatts was awarded with the Top Vocal Group of the Year.
