Singer Jessica Simpson sat with Glamour Magazine who have put her on the new issue cover to hit stores in coming weeks. In the interview, Jessica talked about being in love and finding herself again thanks to Dallas Cowboys quaterback Tony Romo whom she has called her future husband. She also talks about her upcoming country album debut and says that she feels like she should've done this a long time ago but her record company didn't allow her, this time she said she would not release an album unless it was country - which are her roots and what she grew up with. Aside from the fact of being a great interview, the cover is flawless. Jessica looks incredible. Check it out.

Fall Out Boy- "Beat It" [Music Video]
Fall Out Boy have released the music video for "Beat It" - lead single taken from the group's current Live CD/DVD set ****: Live in Phoenix which is in stores now. As you might have guessed, this is a Michael Jackson cover and putting comparisons aside, I think Fall Out Boy did a brilliant job at pulling off the cover. It's obviously more rock and although the original song was released twenty five years ago, the music video still features the famous MJ dance moves and clothing. Check it out, you must!

Vanessa Hudgnes- Identified Album Cover
Disney's star Vanessa Hudgens is ready to release her sophomore album called Identified. In a recent interview she said that this album is more grown-up than her debut, but it's staying true to her Disney roots. Vanessa said "It's grown-up but not the point where I'm singing 'I'm Hot, I'm Hot, Boys Like Me, I'm Hot'" - That's a weird quote if you ask me, and that's not grown-up, it's slutty. Anyway, she look good on the album cover, check it out.

Ryan Cabrera- The Moon Under Water Cover
Remember Ryan Cabrera? The dude who was made famous through The Ashlee Simpson Show? Well, he had his fame back in 2004 when he released his debut album Take it All Away, it was his big break and featured the hit singles "On the Way Down" and "True". That album eventually went Gold. In 2005 he released You Stand Watching, great album with poor sales... ever since he has changed record labels and is ready to release his third studio album entitled The Moon Under Water. The lead single called "Say" is a great song that unfortunately failed to impress at radios. The album will probably not be a hit, but musically it's his best. The CD has already leaked and it's set to hit stores on May 13th. Check out the album cover above.

The Hills Cast on the Cover of Rolling Stone
The cast of MTV's hit reality show The Hills appear on the new issue cover of Rolling Stone magazine. From left to right: Heidi, Audrina, Lauren and Whitney. Can you believe how famous the show has gotten these girls? This is the most important cover they've been featured on so far. Heidi and Lauren were on the shoot together but were kept apart at all times. They all look incredible, although Heidi tries too hard to be/look like Britney Spears. Hoochie. Check out the cover.

Scarlett Johansson- "Falling Down" [Music Video]
This has to be a joke. Scarlett Johansson has released the music video for "Falling Down" - lead single from her debut album Anywhere I Lay My Head. The song is just bad... her voice doesn't really fall under the 'singer-type' category, I'll give her one advice: Stick to acting. Some people might like the song... the majority will hate it. Not to forget mentioning that the video is hideous. Check it out.

15 Year-Old Miley Cyrus Goes Top-Less
Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus has shocked her fans and everyone else after she appeared topless (above) on a new photoshoot for Vanity Fair magazine. Not only is she topless on the photograph but for someone fifteen she looks wasted as if she was out partying all night long, and on top, the ton of photoshop used didn't help her look a little more normal at all. It was supposed to be an artsy photoshoot but it came accross as cheap, trashy and slutty. Miley has apologized for this by saying: "I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect," she added. "I never intended for any of this to happen and I am truly sorry if I have disappointed anyone. Most of all, I have let myself down. I will learn from my mistakes and trust my support team. My family and my faith will guide me through my life's journey." Can't believe her dad, Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus would let his daughter pose like that so young, he was on set with her and was also part of a more normal shoot. (below)

For this Video of the Week we're going back to 2005 when Idol winner Carrie Underwood released the music video for her debut single "Jesus, Take The Wheel". The song spent six weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs and it won Carrie her very first Grammy for Best Female Country Vocal Performance and helped win her the Grammy for Best New Artist, not to forget mentioning that the song won Best Country Song that same year. In addition to all that, the single was certified Platinum for digital downloads of over one million sales in 2006. Incredible, right? Enjoy this week's video of the week.

The song is currently climbing charts but I can't get over the fact that because of this song we have to wait longer for the release of "Breakin' Dishes"... but anyway, until then, we've got this song. The video is also nice she looks beautiful putting the hair aside. Check it out.

America's Next Top Model: ...Then There Were 5
The remaining six girls are in Italy still competing in hopes of becoming America's Next Top Model. On tonight's episode the models shot a CoverGirl commercial in Italian... as the judges said two were horrible, two were so bad they were hilarious and two were pretty good. The horrible ones were Lauren and Anya... in very different ways though. Lauren just gave up, she did not commit and looked like she didn't care to do good, while Anya was bad because she was completely lost in translation and had no idea how to match up what she was saying with what she was doing. However, Anya's commercial was nowhere near as bad as Dominique's and Whitney's whose commercials were plain bad and hilarious due to so. Dominique's was just over-done and she sounded drunk all throughout and Whitney's turned out to sound very fake and again, over-done. Eek. The only good ones were Fatima's and Katarzyna's who managed to be charming and had the Italian down very easy. Call-out order was Fatima-Katarzyna-Anya-Dominique-Whitney-Lauren. I actually think Lauren went further than I expected, she was very awkward-looking to me. Now five girls remain, who will be eliminated next? My money is on Whitney.

American Idol: Carly -> OUT!
It's become unpredictable, weird and unfair. I'm now starting to believe that American Idol producers are eliminating people purely for press and attention as their ratings have gone down drastically. Last night Syesha and Carly were congratulated by the judges for having delivered their best performances on the entire competition... yet those two ladies, who again, were amazing last night fall in the bottom 2... who should've been there? Um... let's see... well, Brooke White did forget her lyrics and had to start over again, not to forget saying that she was tense and uncomfortable during the whole thing. Yes, she should've been eliminated tonight. Carly is going home tonight... and like Michael Johns' elimination - it was unexpected and a big shocker. I've lost credibility in the show and I can actually say I doubt I'll watch the 8th season.

Bittersweet World Becomes Ashlee's Best Rated
Reviews for Ashlee Simpson's Bittersweet World began to surface at just a few days from its release in the U.S. Rolling Stone, who have been pretty harsh with her albums in the past gave Bittersweet World a pretty good review: three out of five stars, saying that Simpson had "skillfully shifted her crunchy, guitar-driven pop to Eighties-influenced electro-rock with the help of Timbaland and the Neptunes' Chad Hugo." The magazine previously gave her debut album Autobiography two out of five stars and her sophomore effort, I Am Me, a dissapointing one star and a half out of five.
People magazine gave the album a very positive review, with three and a half out of four stars; it described Bittersweet World as "shockingly good" and as "sweet revenge on all of Simpson's critics", and it noted the album's "dance-pop direction". Not to forget mentioning that Entertainment Weekly gave the album a B grade.
All Music Guide gave the album four out of five stars.
Looks like Ashlee pulled off making a great album this time around and I can't wait to go buy a copy when it hits stores next Tuesday - April 22nd!

America's Next Top Model: Top 6 Going to Italia
I can't believe there's already a top 6 on America's Next Top Model. This season has flown by! The last remaining girls are Lauren, Fatima, Dominique, Whitney, Katarzyna and Anya. This is the first time a plus-sized model makes it abroad, congrats Whitney! We'll see how far she goes. As for this week's photoshoot, it sucked. It was some quick group shoot where they had the girls pose in a row in front of an airplane... not my favorite. What I did like was Anya's photoshoot for 7UP. Anya has proven that she's the contestant to beat this season as she's gotten the first call out three times, never been in the bottom 2 and has won two individual challenges in which she's had great photoshoots as a reward. For now, let me say that Stacy Ann was eliminated for her weak body of work when compared to Fatima's - who missed the photoshoot as she had an appointment at the consulate in order to fix her traveling documents. Next week, the girls shoot the CoverGirl commercial in Roma, Italia and from what it looks like, Dominique and Fatima will have a hard time. We'll see. Below you'll find this week's group photo I'll post Anya's 7up print ad to run in magazines when I find it. [Lauren - Stacy - Whitney - Anya - Dominique - Katarzyna]

American Idol: Bye Bye to Kristy Lee Cook
She must be proud of herself and her die-hard fans who managed to keep her on the show this far. Kristy Lee Cook appeared in the bottom two five times including tonight, I believe that's the most bottom two appearances in American Idol history. But, just when she was getting better, she gets voted off. America's votes are unpredictable. Either way, Kristy was so well-liked that it's almost obvious she will be signed to a country record label and release a country album towards the end of the year a la Kellie Pickler. So, Tonight's bottom three consisted of Kristy Lee Cook, Brooke White and Syesha Mercado. This is the fourth time Syesha is in the bottom three, so I'm expecting her to go home next week... it's long overdue, yes, she's got an amazing voice... but what else? In fact, I think that from this point on, the remaining three girls will be voted off one by one leaving the final three spots for the remaining three men. I think that the finale will be a battle of the Davids. Hopefully the winner will be David Cook instead of David Archuleta. Anyway, Mariah Carey also performed "Bye Bye", an emotional song from her new album E=MC2 - which hit stores yesterday. Next week, Syesha, Carly, Jason, David, Brooke, and David will take the stage one more time in hopes of moving on to the Top 5.

American Idol Top 7 - Best Performance
The Top 7 have performed and the night's mentor was Mariah Carey. The remaining contestants had to perform hits from the singer's career. My favorite was David Cook who sang a completely differently arranged version of "Always Be My Baby" and not far behind is Jason Castro, who also changed up the arrangement to "I Don't Wanna Cry" and did it great - those two will receive the most votes easily and move right on to the Top 6. The little rodent-looking kid, David Archuleta performed "When You Believe" the Mariah/Whitney duet. I didn't like it, but the judges did... so he'll move on to the Top 6 (boo!). My guess is that the Bottom 3 will be Carly Smithson who sang "Without You", Syesha Mercado who sang "Vanishing", and Brooke White who performed "Hero". I know, go figure... I feel like the thought of elimination has woken Kristy Lee Cook up because she seems to get better every week, Kristy performed "Forever" and did very well. But then again, America's votes are always unpredictable and the bottom 3 could be Carly, Kristy, Brooke; Carly, Kristy and Syesha; or Sysha, Kristy and Brooke - what I'm saying is that no matter what, the bottom three will be any three girls. While we wait for the results, check out David Cook's performance above.

2008 Country Music Television Awards - Review
They promised a great show and heck, we got a great show! The performers were incredible, some of the presenters were pretty darn funny, the awards handed out went to the right people, great show overall. The highlight was Taylor Swift winning the award for Female Video of the Year for "Our Song", she was in complete shock and even checked the envelope to see it for herself - of course, we all thought Carrie Underwood was going to win for "So Small", but it's about time someone won other than Carrie, Taylor deserves it. although there were four American Idol alums nominated [Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Kellie Pickler and Bucky Covington] only one took home awards. Idol's Season 5 Kellie Pickler received three CMT Awards for her hit single "I Wonder", including Breakthrough Video of the Year and Live Performance of the Year. These are the first major awards Kellie wins since the release of her Platinum debut album Small Town Girl. Other winners include Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts. Box Office: Prom Night Takes The Number One
Prom Night - the remake of the 1980 classic, takes the #1 after collection a little over $22 million in a relatively slow weekend for Movies in the box office. Far behind at number two we see Street Kings, which grossed a dissapointing $12 million - that's a pretty damn low #2. The third slot goes to 21, film which has collected $62 million so far, including $11 million grossed this weekend. Any other films are not even worth mentioning, except Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who! Which lands at #6 adding another $6 million to its now total of $139 million in the US alone. Not bad. In coming weeks, we should see an increase when Iron Man hits the big screen, we'll see how that goes. For a complete list, click here.

Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown Live @ American Idol
Jordin Sparks returned to the Idol stage to perform her duet with Chris Brown, "No Air". The performance was very good overall, but I didn't like the fact that the chorus was backed-up with pre-recorded vocals.. what's there to hide? I also noted that Jordin has put on a couple of pounds that make her look a lot older than her real age, 18. She tried to hide it with a black dress, but it made her look even older. On a positive note, she received two platinum plaques for a million digital downloads of her singles "Tatoo" and "No Air" each in addition to a gold plaque for sales of 500,000 copies of her self-titled debut album. Enjoy.

American Idol Results: Michael -> Out!
Whoa whoa whoa! One question: Why? I'm speechless to say the least. Every year there is a surprise elimination, but this one definitely shocked me the most. I did not see Michael Johns get eliminated this early on the competition, I predicted he would be top 4! The audience was surprised, the faces on the judges were priceless. Who knows what the heck America is voting for...? Michael was ages better than half the performances last Tuesday to be honest. Overall, Michael was one of the best this season and he's now gone. Carly and Syesha were also part of the bottom 3. One more thing I want to say is that David Archuleta better not win this season, young girls need to open their eyes and stop voting for him because they think he's adorable... he's nothing but a trained baboon with a chain-smoker-kind-of-voice whose dad is making him sweat blood every week so he can pay off his bills later on. It's now up to David Cook or Carly Smithson to start picking the right songs and to take the win in the end. In a week, this has gone from best season to nearly the worst. Can't wait to hear that Michael has scored a record deal and will release an album - he deserves it.

Carrie Underwood- "Praying For Time" on Idol
Carrie Underwood was introduced by Simon Cowell, one of the three persons who discovered her three years ago for Idol - of course, Simon had to make the remark that HE predicted very early during Carrie's run on Idol Season 4 that she would win and sell more records than any other Idol contestant, and he was right. How did he know? Haha. Anyway, Carrie took on George Michael's "Praying For Time" and did incredible, as usual.

Idol's Top 8 Perform "Don't Stop The Music"
This was great! The opening to the show was one of the best performances of the night. The top 8 contestants performed Rihanna's "Don't Stop The Music" featuring dancers from past So You Think You Can Dance seasons. Incredible, you need to watch this! Enjoy.

Teri Hatcher- "Before He Cheats" @ Idol Gives Back
No, this is not a joke! Actress Teri Hatcher decided to perform Carrie Underwood's smash single "Before He Cheats" at Idol Gives Back. I was expecting Carrie to pop out and take over mid-way, but Teri sang the entire song. She didn't do bad, but this was completely unexpected. Check it out, you must! The intro was pretty funny, I must add.

Miley Cyrus - "See You Again" @ Idol Gives Back
Miley Cyrus pretended to be the big bad rocker chick last night performing her hit single "See You Again" and the Idol Gives Back ceremony... and it came out a little high-strong. It wasn't bad, just over-done, it helps that the song is actually pretty good. Check it out!

Daughtry in Uganda for Idol Gives Back
-> Chris Daughtry- "What About Now"
In a close attempt to re-create Carrie Underwood's 2007 Idol Gives Back anthem "I'll Stand By You", Chris Daughtry and his band headed to Uganda to tape a similiar video for "What About Now" which came out less strong but with the same emotional and very touching message. Check out both videos for Carrie in 2007 and Daughtry in 2008. Beautiful stuff.

I'm posting what I think were yesterday's best male and female performances. Michael Johns lands in this 'best of the night' spot for the fourth time during this season. About Kristy Lee Cook - this is her very first. This competition is getting more and more interesting as it goes! Who knew Kristy would have one of the best performances? Enjoy.

Leona Lewis' 'Spirit' to Debut at #1 in the US
Leona Lewis, who catapulted to fame in her native U.K. after winning that country’s televised X Factor talent competition launched by Idol's Simon Cowell, will debut at #1 on next week’s HITS Album Sales chart with her debut Spirit, edging near 200k, though the final total will probably closer to 190k.That’s based on one-day sales reports from our crack team of retail reporters around the country who are still standing. Lewis’ album has already spawned the hit single, “Bleeding Love,” as Team RCA, led by Davis and EVP Richard Palmese, bring the song all the way home.
I definitely saw this one coming. She's become so damn successful, congrats to Leona.

American Idol Top 8 Performances - Review
I'm making it short this time! Results show won't be until Thursday because tomorrow air Idol Gives Back, I'm exicted for that. Anyway, on to tonight's performances:Michael Johns performed "Dream On" by Aerosmith - Singing first is always a disadvantage, however, I feel like his performance was good enough to keep him out of the bottom 3. Rating: 8/10
Syesha Mercado performed "I Believe" by Fantasia - Another week where Syesha picks an extremely safe song... this time though, she got negative reviews from the judges and although she was not the worst, she might be in danger of going home. Rating: 7/10
Jason Castro performed "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" by Judy Garland - My fellow colombian contestant picked the perfect song to keep him out of the bottom 3 that he was in two weeks ago. Really good performance, great feedback from the judges. Rating: 8/10
Kristy Lee Cook performed "Anyway" by Martina McBride - Believe it or now, this whole week I was thinking that Kristy needed to sing THAT song this week to stay on, and ironically, she sang it and did great. Kristy was easily the best female performance of the night. She as well received great feedback from all three judges and she doesn't have to worry about being in the bottom 3 Thursday. Rating: 8/10
David Cook performed "Innocent" by Our Lady Peace - David wasn't as good as he has been before but I say it was surely good enough for him to move on with no problem. Rating: 7.5/10
Carly Smithson performed "The Show Must Go On" by Queen - Oh Carly! Why? I'm afraid Carly might be not only in the bottom 3 but also going home. The performance wasn't good and it didn't quite fit the night's inspirational theme. Rating: 6.5/10
David Archuleta performed "Angels" by Robbie Williams - The beginning wasn't too good, but he got it together towards the end. I would've liked it a lot more if I had never heard Jessica Simpson's version - which is probably the best out there. Rating: 7.5/10
Brooke White performed "You've Got a Friend" by Carol King - It was a nice song, very soothing, and very safe.. but is it enough to keep her away from the bottom 3? Who know... we'll have to wait and see. Rating: 7/10

Nelly Ft. Fergie- "Party People" [Music Video]
Rapper Nelly has released the music video for "Party People" - a song with heavy hip-hop beats that features the Dutchess herself, Fergie. I find the song to be pretty damn great, I'm surprised I like it as much as I do! It's catchy and the music video fits the song perfectly. Nelly's upcoming album Brass Knuckles hits stores June 24th.
Simple Plan- "Your Love Is A Lie" [Music Video]
Simple Plan released the music video for "Your Love Is A Lie" - second single from their self-titled third album. The song is great and it has begun taking off in radio stations, hopefully it will revive album sales because as of now, the album remains their worst-selling yet. About the video, there's nothing special but it's quite likeable. Check it out.

Kelly Rowland- "Comeback" [Music Video]
Here she goes again, one more try to finally break into that american radio that has given her such a hard time to play the songs she's released from both her albums. Kelly Rowland released the music video for "Comeback", a very good song with a sexy video. She deserves to have a hit already! Her only hit as a solo artist was the 2002 smash "Dilemma" which wasn't even her single, it was included in Nelly's Nellyville. So I definitely wish her the best with this new song.

Usher- "Love In This Club" [Full Music Video]
In one word? Boring! The song is good, but the concept is terrible and too over-used. How many music videos have been taped in a club? Thounsands perhaps... and it's tiring and makes me feel that artists are not trying anymore. Yes, the name of the song IS "Love in this Club", and the most obvious thing was to make the video in one... but they could've done something different, something that stuck out... not just a plain video in a club. Anyway, Usher has a strong fanbase and I'm sure he'll have no problems with the video's success. Check it out above.
