Everywhere you turn, Mariah Carey’s in your grill. She’s on Oprah, two American Idols, in your e-mail, on your computer. Mariah Carey’s new Island/IDJ album E=MC2, looks like it will sell over 500k, based on one-day sales reports, though last night’s Idol appearance could send it even higher. Wonderers are wondering if 600k is within reach. Needless to say, it will be #1 next week by a wide margin. - Hits Daily Double Her record label did an incredible job at promoting this album and it's payed off because Mariah will now have the biggest debut of 2008 so far... can Madonna top those numbers next week with the release of Hard Candy? I doubt it, believe it or not... we'll see. Congrats Mariah!
