Jamie Bamber in New PETA Ad
Battlestar Galactica's Jamie Bamber Bares Skin to Save Bears in New PETA Ad. Each year, countless black bears in Canada are shot and killed, often in front of their cubs, using a cruel practice called "bait and shoot," which is banned in British Columbia and many U.S. states. Their fur is then sent to the U.K. to be used to make caps for the Queen's guards. Hunters put food in barrels or at "bait spots" to attract hungry bears, who are then shot when they come to eat. These intelligent, curious animals are often shot several times, and many escape wounded only to die later from blood loss, infection, or starvation. -Fur is Dead. Please, CLICK HERE to take action on this issue. Ridic!
The Oscar-nominated film sits in 4th place for the top box-office earners with a gross of $1.001 billion, coming behind Titanic ($1.84 billion), The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King ($1.12 billion) and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest ($1.07 billion).

[MP3] Miley Cyrus- "The Climb" Country Version
Miley Cyrus will be releasing her own first single to country radio this week. The song chosen is "The Climb" - the first single released from the Hannah Montana Movie Soundtrack which will be in stores on March 24th. Obviously, the song was remixed from its original Pop sound as a Country song and I see this becoming a hit for Miley on the Country charts as well. Kelly Clarkson- All I Ever Wanted [iTunes Rip]
Kelly Clarkson returns full on to the Pop genre with her latest album All I Ever Wanted to hit stores March 10th. The album is great to say the least. It's filled with some great uptempo pop songs that if released as singles could become sure hits for Clarkson. Some of those tracks include the already #1 single "My Life Would Suck Without You", "Don't Let Me Stop You", "I Do Not Hook Up" and "Long Shot".The slower songs that jump out to me the most are "Cry" which is a nice well-written ballad. "Already Gone" is great, I had to play it on repeat a couple of times. Very nice, I hope this becomes a single. The final ballad on the album is "If No One Will Listen", I say Kelly never disappoints with her power ballads, this is yet another great song on the album!
Then there's the song called "Whyyawannabringmedown" - interesting title! Haha, I think the song is not bad, I actually would like this song if it wasn't sung by Kelly Clarkson. I feel like it fits more with the style of Avril Lavigne or Paramore. I just think that the song doesn't sound natural on Kelly.
Now, going back to the rumored second single, the song is called "I Do Not Hook Up" which was written by Kara DioGuardi and Katy Perry. I like the song but I actually prefer Katy's version. Yeah, go figure. Either way, I'm sure if they do release this as the next single it's going to become yet another top ten hit for Kelly.
"Impossible", "All I Ever Wanted" and "If I Can't Have You" are some definitely catchy songs with big success potential. Not the best on the album, but great tracks nonetheless.
The songs that I just wanted to skip are "Save You", "Ready" and "I Want You". I think they're the weakest songs on the album... I wouldn't say they suck, maybe they need more plays for me to get familiar with them, but right now... not my faves.
Overall, this album is much much better than My December but not as good as Breakaway. I would give this album a rating of 8 out of 10. What I like the most is that there are a lot of songs to pick from to be singles and they would do great on the charts. Congrats to Kelly on this one!
Now, if you want to download the album and listen for yourself, you can find the download link in this post's comments space! Don't forget to buy your own copy of the album March 10th.
