The Lazarus Effect Campaign PSA

(RED) is introducing The Lazarus Effect Campaign, intended to increase awareness for its efforts to fight AIDS in Africa.

The campaign, directed by renowned photographer Brigitte Lacombe, has celebrities rattle off items that could be bought for 40 cents (the value of one day’s worth of life transforming antiretroviral medication).

Celebs featured: Bono, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Julianne Moore, Claire Danes, Iman, Hugh Jackman, Orlando Bloom, Lucy Liu, Gabourey Sidibe, Kerry Washington, Bryan Cranston, Jane Lynch, Michelle Rodriguez, Gwen Stefani, Hayden Christensen, Don Cheadle, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Ludacris, Common, Benicio Del Toro, Dakota Fanning and Christy Turlington.

Weekend Box Office: Wolverine Strong at #1

With the biggest opening of the year so far, X-Men Origins: Wolverine sits at the top of this weekend's box office chart. The movie grossed a great total of over $87 million! Talk about success here. To those who have not seen the movie yet I must say: Ignore the negative critics, this movie is f*cking great! Go watch it, I definitely recommend it.

The film focuses on the violent past of mutant Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and his time with Team X, before Wolverine's skeleton was bonded with the indestructible metal adamantium. The plot also details his early encounters with Colonel William Stryker, the Weapon X program and Wolverine's interactions with other mutants including his relationship with his half-brother Sabretooth. Can't wait to see this one tonight.
