David Cook and Carrie Underwood were the only Idol winners to take part of this year's Idol Gives Back, which is a little suprising to me. But anyway, David traveled to Ethiopia to film a report for the show. Really eye-opening. Check that out above. By the way, the song David sings in the video is titled "Heroes" for those wondering.

Carrie Underwood performed her song "Change" live at Idol Gives Back tonight. Watching this performance, I can say it's no surprise why she remains the most successful contestant Idol has launched so far. The girl is incredible and she easily had the best performance of the night. Enjoy!

The Black Eyed Peas Live at Idol Gives Back

Mary J. Blige Live at Idol Gives Back

This was one of my favorite performances of this year's Idol Gives Back. Mary J. Blige performed "Stairway to Heaven" live with the help of Travis Barker, a genius on the drums, Orianthi, and Idol's own Randy Jackson just to name a few. This was great. Check it out!

Carrie Underwood was introduced by Simon Cowell, one of the three persons who discovered her three years ago for Idol - of course, Simon had to make the remark that HE predicted very early during Carrie's run on Idol Season 4 that she would win and sell more records than any other Idol contestant, and he was right. How did he know? Haha. Anyway, Carrie took on George Michael's "Praying For Time" and did incredible, as usual.

Mariah Carey- "Fly Like A Bird" @ Idol Gives Back

Mariah Carey sounded great [for the first time in a long time] while performing "Fly Like A Bird" at Idol Gives Back. I know her fans miss this Mariah and you're all finally getting her back to enjoy, at least for 3 minutes. Check it out.

Idol's Top 8 Perform "Don't Stop The Music"

This was great! The opening to the show was one of the best performances of the night. The top 8 contestants performed Rihanna's "Don't Stop The Music" featuring dancers from past So You Think You Can Dance seasons. Incredible, you need to watch this! Enjoy.

Teri Hatcher- "Before He Cheats" @ Idol Gives Back

No, this is not a joke! Actress Teri Hatcher decided to perform Carrie Underwood's smash single "Before He Cheats" at Idol Gives Back. I was expecting Carrie to pop out and take over mid-way, but Teri sang the entire song. She didn't do bad, but this was completely unexpected. Check it out, you must! The intro was pretty funny, I must add.

Miley Cyrus - "See You Again" @ Idol Gives Back

Miley Cyrus pretended to be the big bad rocker chick last night performing her hit single "See You Again" and the Idol Gives Back ceremony... and it came out a little high-strong. It wasn't bad, just over-done, it helps that the song is actually pretty good. Check it out!

Daughtry in Uganda for Idol Gives Back

In a close attempt to re-create Carrie Underwood's 2007 Idol Gives Back anthem "I'll Stand By You", Chris Daughtry and his band headed to Uganda to tape a similiar video for "What About Now" which came out less strong but with the same emotional and very touching message. Check out both videos for Carrie in 2007 and Daughtry in 2008. Beautiful stuff.
