Avatar Coming Back to The Big Screen in August

WHY? Lol

Fox announced that James Cameron's epic Avatar would be re-released in theaters at the end of August. The limited engagement is being dubbed Avatar: Special Edition and will only be shown in 3D theaters.

So what makes it so special? How about eight never-before-scene minutes of footage?

In the press release for the event, James explains:

"Audiences repeatedly told me they wanted more of Pandora, and wished they could have stayed there longer. So we're making that possible. 'Avatar: Special Edition' will be exclusively in 3D, and will have eight minutes of never before seen footage, including new creatures and action scenes. Whether you already love the movie, or you've never seen it, with this special edition, you'll be seeing it like never before."

The flick returns on Aug. 27th.

Really? I would've never seen Avatar, but during the last week or 2 of school, my science teacher had us watch it. Not really sure why we had to, she said it was bc of the great lighting in the movie & it relating to what we were going over in class. I didn't like it very much, like I thought I wouldn't. It did have great special effects and everything though. But does it really need to be in theaters again? It's already the best selling movie of all time.

Is stupid, come on, the movie is so boring, I saw many of those things in alien and terminator, was such a dissapointment. yeah nice artwork but no story at all, I can talk about am a screenwriter.
