2010 Primetime Emmy Awards - Nominees

Today is one of television's biggest days, as the 2010 Primetime Emmy Award nominations were announced this morning. Though the telecast doesn't air until August 29th, fans of shows such as "Glee" and "Mad Men" are excited as both programs lead the pack with the most nominations.

A welcome surprise was the nomination of Andre Braugher. Braugher, who is still best known for his work on the 1993 drama series "Homicide: Life on the Street," received a Best Supporting Drama Actor nomination for his role as Owen Thoreau Jr. in the new TNT series "Men of a Certain Age." On the show, Owen, a middle-aged married man with two children, constantly lives in the shadow of his NBA-turned-car dealership owner of a father.
