Hot Pick: Avenged Sevenfold- "Afterlife"

You might remember Avenged Sevenfold from their 2005 chart-topping single "Bat Country" from the album City of Evil which was ranked at #63 on the list of the 100 greatest guitar albums of all time by Guitar World magazine. The album was also certified Platinum and it became their best-selling to date. You might also remember the band after M. Shadows and Synyster Gates were featured on Good Charlotte's single and music video for "The River". The group then went on to release their newest self-titled album on October of 2007 and it has since sold nearly 400,000 copies. In that album is their newest single called "Afterlife" which is probably one of the best rock/metal songs I've heard in a while and was voted the best song from their new album by their fans. "Afterlife" has so far peaked at #16 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks and climbing. You must check it out!
