Pitbull Feat. Chris Brown- "International Love" [Single Premiere]

Pitbull rarely has a bad song these days. All his singles are great! Take a listen above to his new single "International Love" featuring Chris Brown. Future #1.

Rihanna- "Man Down" [Music Video]

Nice video, average song.

Lady Gaga Has Highest First Week Sales in 6 Years!

Lady Gaga sold a predicted 1.11 million copies of her album Born This Way this past week, which means it had the best first week sales since 50 Cent's The Massacre sold 1.14 million copies in 2005. However, the numbers are so close that when the official Billboard numbers are in tomorrow, she MAY have the biggest first week sales number in 10 years!

Almost 650k of those sales, though, were in digital form, with 460k coming via Amazon’s precedent-shattering two-day 99 cents promotion.

Shakira Feat. Pitbull- "Rabiosa" [Official Lyrics Video]

Check out the official lyrics video for Shakira's new single "Rabiosa" featuring Pitbull. This song is too damn catchy! Enjoy!

Jamie Chung on the Cover of Prestige

Jamie Chung Covers 'Prestige' June 2011
Jamie Chung appears on the cover of Prestige magazine’s June 2011 issue. Here’s what the 28-year-old Hangover Part II star had to share:

On how her parents reacted to her career choice: “Mothers will always worry about their children. It’s no different in my case, but I am grateful to have come from a traditional family. My parents are supportive of me and are very excited to see The Hangover Part II!”

On going out of her comfort zone:“I enjoy challenging myself physically and mentally with roles that push me beyond my comfort zone. I try to switch things up, whether it’s comedy, drama or action. I want to continuously evolve. I always ask myself: Can I make this part into something spectacular?”

Lady Gaga's Born This Was Blasts Onto UK Charts

Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" album made its expected powerful arrival to the U.K. chart Sunday (May 29), with the biggest first-week sale of the year here of 215,000 units, more than the rest of the top ten titles combined.

Lady Gaga's opening U.K. sales narrowly beat Adele's first-week tally of 208,000 for "21" in late January. "Born This Way" is joined in the top ten by its predecessor "The Fame," which rises 11-7.

The Australians also went crazy for Lady Gaga, as the much-anticipated album, released on May 23, is already approaching multi-platinum status in that country.

American Idol Finale Hits All-Time Low in Ratings, Winner Results Leaked

James and Haley should've been the top 2! I'm telling you!

Fox’s American Idol performance finale was down slightly in the ratings from last year’s all-time low. Tuesday’s episode delivered 20 million viewers and a 6.2 preliminary adults 18-49 rating, down 7 percent from last season’s final performance show. Last night marked the lowest rating ever for a performance finale of American Idol.

And according to The Drudge Report, Scotty McCreery has won this season of American Idol after he got nearly double the amount of votes Lauren Alaina got and according to The New York Post, American Idol is "Getting Old".

Just a few months ago, the producers of "American Idol" declared that this would be the season they dragged the aging goliath into the future.

With ratings sagging over the past few years and its winners finding it increasingly difficult to sell records, "Idol" was in need of a dramatic reboot.

"Maybe it's like a diva, maybe it's more like Lady Gaga," Randy Jackson mused about the type of star he hoped would emerge. "Maybe it's Muse, Bono or Brandon Flowers of the Killers."

Now, at the season's end, with "Idol's" first all-country finale on tap, the "c" word -- for contemporary -- is not much heard and the winner is being labeled as an "UN-COOL, UN-HIP, COUNTRY-FRIED SINGER."
_________________________
Ouch! And with a FOURTH male winner in a row, I think it's safe to say American Idol has dug out its own grave and will be buried by The X Factor later this year.

Lady Gaga to Debut at #1 With Over 900k First Week Sales

Lady Gaga’s Born This Way will debut at #1 next week with the year’s biggest sales total, between 900-950k. That would be the largest debut since Taylor Swift’s Speak Now scored 1.04 million last October.

Brad Paisley’s This Is Country Music, the 10th album since bursting onto the scene in 1999, is on target for an opening week of 145-155k.

Glee Cast Volume 6 will debut with between 80-85k, while Columbia/Jive/Legacy’s NKOTBSB, the joining of New Kids and Backstreet Boys, should do 35-40k on the heels of their blockbuster tour.

Beyoncé Explains Billboard Awards Inspiration

Beyoncé acknowledged Lorella Cuccarini's performance and even reveals that, it was the inspiration behind hers all along and that she worked with the people who made Lorella's performance happen last year. Here's what she said:

"My makeup artist showed me the performance of Lorella Cuccarini a year ago, and it inspired me so much. I then met with the talented people who worked on it. The technology and concept were so genius. Thank god for YouTube or I would have never been exposed to something so inspiring. I never worked so hard on anything in my life as that performance for the Billboard Awards."

And there you go.

David Cook Live at American Idol

David Cook has performed twice this season, while last year's Idol Lee DeWyze was not asked to perform at the finale. This is the first time the reigning American Idol won't be part of the final show. What a slap on the face! Haha.

Brad Paisley- "Old Alabama" [Music Video]

Brad Paisley has released the music video for his latest single "Old Alabama" featuring Alabama. Take a look above! Brad's album This Is Country Music is in stores now.

Britney Spears- "The Big Fat Bass" Live at Jimmy Kimmel

American Idol [Winner Singles] + Top 4 Stats & Facts

Lauren Alaina
"Like My Mother Does"

Scotty McCreery
"I Love You This Big"

Below, you're about to see how the Top 4 contestants on American Idol ranked all season long when it came to the totals of their studio recording downloads from this blog. The numbers separated by commas inside the parenthesis represent the rank of their songs for each week starting from top 13 week on the left going all the way to top 3 week on the right. Example: The "9" under Haley's name means her studio recording was the 9th most downloaded on Top 13 week, the "10" means her song was the 10th most downloaded on Top 12 week and so on.

#1. Haley Reinhart

4225 downloads to 14 songs
(9, 10, 2, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1)

#2. Lauren Alaina
3271 downloads to 14 songs
(8, 7, 1, 4, 2, 1, 4, 5, 3, 2, 2)

"Like My Mother Does"
(Winner Single)

I have to say, I was not excited going into this finale... but Lauren may have just won American Idol with her winner single. It was probably one of the most touching final performances on this show. It was a pretty rushed finale but Lauren took it to where she has never done before. Well done to her. It's time another female wins this show.

The Best Damn Blog picks: Lauren Alaina

Round 1: Scotty/Scotty/Lauren
Round 2: Lauren/Lauren/Lauren
Round 3: Lauren/Lauren/Lauren

Dial Idol predicts Scotty will win. They're never wrong. Another dude wins? Yikes!

Hot Pick: Rock Mafia- "The Big Bang"

This was released half a year ago, but I hadn't heard the song until now... and I can't stop listening to it. "The Big Bang" is a song by producing team Rock Mafia, who are responsible for most of Miley Cyrus' music and many other young stars, including Selena Gomez, Miranda Cosgrove, Aly & AJ, Vanessa Hudgens and more. The music video for this song features Miley Cyrus and Kevin Zegers. Take a look above!

The Strongest Finale Showdowns on American Idol

1. Carrie Underwood/Bo Bice
It was the first time a Country singer and a Rocker made it to a finale. Carrie has one of the best voices we've heard on the show and some of the strongest performances that remain ranked high up to date: "Alone" and "Angels Brought Me Here" were chill-inducing; while Bo had the voice, the experience and the presence of a true rock performer. The finale of the fourth season of Idol remains the most exciting of them all.

2. David Cook/David Archuleta
Cook is one of the most original contestants to ever set foot on the Idol stage. His covers of "Billie Jean" and "Always Be My Baby" remain two of the best performances ever seen on that stage. Archuleta, on the other hand, had a soothing voice and brought the youth and freshness to Season 7. At only 17, Archuleta nailed every ballad he performed on the show.

3. Kris Allen/Adam Lambert
Who doesn't like the story of the underdog beating out the early front-runner? Kris Allen came up from behind to shine through on the final weeks of the show. His performance of Kanye West's "Heartless" remains a highlight. Adam Lambert's voice is pretty unique and has an incredible range. The theatrics of all his performances were exciting to watch whether you were a fan or not.

4. Kelly Clarkson/Justin Guarini
This finale is so high up for two reasons only: Kelly Clarkson and the fact that this was the very first season. I don't know enough about Justin to judge his singing, but I do know that Kelly Clarkson has one of the best most incredible voices in the music industry today. Her previous success shows why she won the show and why she'll always be known as The Original American Idol.

5. Ruben Studdard/Clay Aiken
Ruben's voice is just as big as him, and I mean that in a good way. The man knows how to carry a tune and although his career doesn't reflect it, he is one of the best soul singers we've seen on the show. Always on key, never exaggerated. And Clay, well... very few Idol contestants have had the crazy large fanbase that Clay Aiken had. His following was so incredible that he remains the contestant with the largest first week album sales, when his debut album opened to over 600k sold.

6. Fantasia Barrino/Diana DeGearmo
The first and only all-female finale on the show. Fantasia is perhaps one of the most talented and best performers that has walked through Idol. Her performance of "Summertime" remains Randy Jackson's all-time favorite performance from any of the seasons. Diana has a great voice and had her own thing going for her, but we all knew she had no chance against Fantasia.

7. Jordin Sparks/Blake Lewis
Neither Jordin or Blake were the better vocalists from their season (which was a rather weak season.) Jordin was charming and did have a very nice voice, she always had good performances and it was the first time an R&B/Pop artist made it to the finals. It was also the first time a human beat-box machine made it to the finale, but that was all Blake had going for him. His voice wasn't worthy of an American Idol finale, but what that man does with his beat boxing is incredible.

8. Lauren Alaina/Scotty McCreery

It's the youngest finale ever and also the very first all-country finale. So why isn't this more exciting? Well, for one, most of America does not like country music and well, their young age also reflect their inexperience on that stage. Both Lauren and Scotty played it extremely safe during the entire season. They were early fan favorites, which is the only reason why they made it into the finale. Yes, they both have great voices, but they need to learn and grow a lot if they want successful careers after this wraps up.

9. Taylor Hicks/Katharine McPhee
Taylor who? Yeah, none of us remember him. None of us also know how Chris Daughtry finished fourth. Had Chris been in the finale instead of Taylor, this would have been in the Top 3 of best final showdowns. I don't remember a performance where Taylor didn't seem drunk on stage. It's a shame, because Katharine has one of the nicest voices we've heard on Idol and she was overshadowed by Taylor's, um, hyper-activeness.

10. Lee DeWyze/Crystal Bowersox
Although I do like Lee, there is no denying that we witnessed the most boring and unexciting American Idol finale last year. Lee DeWyze's voice was far from perfect and the dude was lost without his guitar; while Crystal, who was an early front-runner, peaked too early in the competition and as the weeks went along she became old and boring. No surprise these two failed to impress and their albums were less than successful.

Haley Reinhart to Premiere Debut Single on Idol Finale?

Does Haley Reinhart already have a record deal?

According to the "American Idol" Top 3 finalist's parents Harry and Patti, who are fast becoming a treasure trove of key information, she has already recorded a single and plans to debut it on the season 10 finale this Wednesday.

Dad Harry revealed at a concert held at Haley's alma mater Wheeling High School that the song will be used as a barometer of sorts, to "test it out and see what happens" after Wednesday's finale.

"She likes the song she's doing, and we hope you like it too," Haley's mom told an audience of several hundred gathered to support Relay For Life, adding that her "little spitfire" rejected two compositions before settling on the tune.

No one in the Reinhart clan is crying over Haley's elimination, either. "No. 3 is pretty darn good," said Harry, pointing out that "you don't have to be so tied to the company that way."

All "Idol" finalists are optioned to 19 Recordings and Interscope Records, should either company wish to sign and release their music.
___________
I gotta say, I'm pretty excited over this. I've got the feeling that Pia, James and Haley could be the biggest stars of this season. I hope they are! The three of them should have been the Top 3.

Check out Rihanna and Britney Spears perform "S&M" live tonight at the Billboard Awards. HOT! I like it, like it.

2011 Billboard Music Awards - Tonight!

Who better to raise the curtain on the 2011 Billboard Music Awards – which return Sunday night after a five-year hiatus – than Britney Spears, who earlier in the afternoon was seen at a dress rehearsal with Rihanna, sources close to the show tell PEOPLE.

"She looked fabulous," one of the sources says about Spears, "better than ever. The opening is sexy and playful, Britney's's got a fantastic entrance. It's epic."

Live on the stage of the MGM Grand Garden Arena Las Vegas, Spears will perform "Til the World Ends" with nominee Nicki Minaj after the latter delivers her hit "Superbass" backed by a slew of male dancers.

The show will air live on ABC, with Hangover 2 star Ken Jeong as host. Previously announced among the performers are Cee Lo Green, Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, the Black Eyed Peas and Keith Urban.

The CW New Fall Shows - Promo Posters

Sarah Michelle Gellar stars as a woman who, after witnessing a murder, goes on the run, hiding out by assuming the life of her wealthy identical twin sister – only to learn that her sister’s seemingly idyllic life is just as complicated and dangerous as the one she’s trying to leave behind. Bridget is six months sober and starting to turn her life around when she is the sole witness to a professional hit. Despite the assurances of her FBI protector, Agent Victor Machado, Bridget knows her life is on the line. She flees to New York, telling no one, not even her Narcotics Anonymous sponsor, Malcolm.

In New York, Bridget reunites with her estranged twin, Siobhan. Wealthy, pampered and married to the strikingly handsome Andrew Martin, Siobhan lives what appears to be a fairy tale life – a life where no one knows that Bridget exists. The sisters seem to be mending their frayed relationship, until Siobhan disappears mysteriously, and Bridget makes the split decision to take on her sister’s identity. She discovers shocking secrets, not only about her sister and her marriage, but also about Siobhan’s best friend, Gemma, and Gemma’s husband, Henry. And when someone tries to kill Bridget in her sister’s penthouse, she realizes she is no safer as Siobhan than she is as herself.

Fast-talking New Yorker and brand new doctor Zoe Hart has it all figured out - after graduating top of her class from medical school, she'll follow in her father's footsteps and become a cardio-thoracic surgeon. But when her dreams fall apart, Zoe decides to accept an offer from a stranger, Dr. Harley Wilkes, to work with him at his small practice in Bluebell, Alabama. Zoe arrives in this small Gulf Coast town only to find that Harley has passed away and left his half of the medical practice to her in his will. She quickly finds that Southern hospitality isn't always so hospitable - the other doctor in town, Brick Breeland, is less than pleased to be sharing the practice with this young outsider, and his daughter, Lemon, is a Southern belle whose sweet disposition turns sour when she meets Zoe. Zoe's only allies are the mayor, former football star Lavon Hayes, her bad-boy neighbor Wade Kinsella, and handsome lawyer George Tucker - who just happens to be Lemon's fiance. Zoe is out of her element and ready to pack her bags, but a surprise visit by her snobby New York mother leads to Zoe's decision to stay in Bluebell for a while, discovering small-town life and a side of herself she hadn't known was there.

Set in the fictional town of Chance Harbor, Washington, the series will follow a California teenager who learns that she comes from a family of witches. Cassie Blake was a happy, normal teenage girl - until her mother Amelia dies in what appears to be a tragic accidental fire. Orphaned and deeply saddened, Cassie moves in with her warm and loving grandmother Jane in the beautiful small town of Chance Harbor, Washington - the town her mother left so many years before - where the residents seem to know more about Cassie than she does about herself. As Cassie gets to know her high school classmates, including sweet-natured Diana and her handsome boyfriend Adam, brooding loner Nick, mean-girl Faye and her sidekick Melissa, strange and frightening things begin to happen. When her new friends explain that they are all descended from powerful witches, and they've been waiting for Cassie to join them and complete a new generation of the Secret Circle, Cassie refuses to believe them - until Adam shows her how to unlock her incredible magical powers. But it's not until Cassie discovers a message from her mother in an old leather-bound book of spells hidden in her mother's childhood bedroom, that she understands her true and dangerous destiny. What Cassie and the others don't yet know is that darker powers are at play, powers that might be linked to the adults in the town, including Diana's father and Faye's mother - and that Cassie's mother's death might not have been an accident.

Lady Gaga Live at SNL

Check out Lady Gaga perform her singles "Judas" and "The Edge of Glory" live at SNL. Can't get enough of these two songs. I like!

Lady Gaga for Google Chrome

Lady Gaga builds one of the world's largest fan bases by using the web to talk directly and openly to her community.

This film celebrates Lady Gaga's special and unmediated relationship with her fans, the Little Monsters. The making of this film is a demonstration of the power of the web in its own right. The entire project, beginning with Lady Gaga's shoot in NYC on May 8th, to shipping materials to the television networks for air, took 10 days. Within hours of the release of her new single "Edge of Glory" on May 9th, fans began uploading videos on YouTube, making the song their own by dancing to it, singing it and playing it on all kinds of instruments. Lady Gaga then posted a message on her website asking for more videos to be used in the film project. Fans responded within minutes and uploaded hundreds more videos. Back in the editing room, in real time as fan videos streamed in, editors were putting them into the film. The film was completed on May 18th in time to air during Lady Gaga's performance on the season finale of Saturday Night Live, and to also live on the web forever.

Carrie Underwood Becomes American Idol's Highest Earner

As predicted by Simon Cowell after Carrie Underwood's "Alone" performance in Season 4 of American Idol, she has just surpassed Season 1 winner, Kelly Clarkson, to become American Idol’s best-selling artist and the highest earner.

Nielsen SoundScan shows that as of May 16, Underwood has sold more than 12,296,000 albums and 18,482,000 digital tracks since her career began, this compared to Clarkson's 10,600,000 albums sold and 15,900,000 digital tracks sold. Furthermore, according to Billboard BoxScore, as far as tour revenues are concerned, Carrie's got Kelly beat by a lot with $66,000,000 in earnings, whereas Kelly has brought in around $32,000,000.

Congrats to Carrie! And to Kelly Clarkson as well, those are some big numbers for both ladies.

Nicole Scherzinger Live at American Idol

I'm starting to like this song! Take a look above at Nicole Scherzinger performing "Right There" with 50 Cent live at American Idol. Me like!

Your American Idol Top 2!

I'm pretty sad to see Haley go. She never had the fanbase Scotty and Lauren had from the beginning, but there is no doubt that Haley is a far better singer than our Top 2 and I'm sure she will have an extremely successful career.

But on to our final two, it's the final with the youngest contestants ever, it's also the first country vs. country final yet! WHO DO YOU THINK WILL WIN? I want Lauren to win, just because I'm sick of the male winners.
