Rihanna on the Cover of British GQ

Asked by interviewer Kanye West where she wants to raise kids, Ri shared, “That’s difficult to think about. Because where I’d want to live and where it would be possible for me to live are two different places.”
“I would love to bring them up in [my native country] Barbados. But with the career that I have, I definitely can’t do that,” she added. “I can’t live that far away from everything now, without kids, so I certainly couldn’t raise kids and do that with the demanding schedule that I have."

Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' Album of the Decade?
Lady Gaga is busy performing her Monster Ball tour all over Europe, and while in Poland, she revealed to her audience that she believes that her new album, Born This Way, has the potential to be the greatest album of the decade! She said:
Who's excited?"I promise you, I'll never let you down. And not for nothing: The album's finished and it's fucking really good. So whatever this is, whatever you just did for all of us…I promise to give you the greatest album of this decade, just for you. The funny thing is that some people have reduced freedom to a brand. They think that it's trendy now to be free. They think it's trendy to be excited about your identity. When in truth, there is nothing trendy about Born This Way. This connection that we all share is something so much deeper than a wig or lipstick or an outfit, or a fucking meat dress. Born This Way is about what keeps us up at night and what makes us afraid."

New Blink-182 Album for Spring of 2011
NME reports that Blink-182 will release a new album in April or May 2011.
The album will be the reunited band’s first since 2003′s self-titled studio effort, and bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus has revealed that a number of new songs are “very near complete”.
“We’ve been busy with new songs and ideas,” Hoppus wrote on his blog. “Some tracks are very near complete. In rough terms, I’d say we’re working with the better part of ten or so songs at this point.”
“There’s still a long way to go before the album is done,” he said. “But already it seems like the songs are both taking a step even further than we took on the last album, while also going back to the sound of some of the earlier albums.”
“We have a date for the completion of the album,” he continued. “We want to deliver the record in April or May, for release very soon afterward. That being said, the only thing more important to us than getting the record out in that time is getting a great record out. If it isn’t absolutely ready at that point, we’ll keep working until it is.”
-Exciting!
Miranda Lambert on the Cover of Billboard Magazine
The result of Lambert's big night at the CMAs was an increase in sales: "Revolution" moved from No. 12 to No. 6 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart in the week following the CMAs, moving 29,000 units and up 137% from the week before. Her previous albums also jumped 50% or better in sales, and her digital song sales for the week were 93,000, up 136% from the previous week. Overall, Lambert has sold more than 5 million digital tracks. But in the bigger picture, nights like these make stars. The combination of a knockout performance; winning big awards over such stars as Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum; and watching her betrothed also win big exponentially raised Lambert's profile and made the pair country's newly crowned power couple in the process.

Avril Lavigne Titles Fourth Album "Goodbye Lullaby"
Anticipation for new material from Avril Lavigne has been high since the release of “Alice (Underground)” for Tim Burton’s interpretation of Alice in Wonderland and it had only been furthered when earlier this year, Avril’s new album was near completion but she said that she considered the album too serious and “mellow” and would return to the studio to balance the album out. She returned to the studio with producer Alex Da Kid and began “exploring” new things to the point where she could state that she had enough material for two records. In interviews earlier this month , Lavigne announced that her album had been completed for a year, citing her record company as the reason for the album’s delays. On the red carpet at the American Music Awards, she was able to reveal that her album is now ready for release with the title Goodbye Lullaby and the first single being “What The Hell” — which has been described as “a broad message about personal freedom”, calling it her “most pop track on the record”. She will begin filming the music video for the album this month and the album will be out in March.
Kanye West Angry at Taylor Swift
At a surprise performance of his acclaimed new album at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom around 1 a.m. Wednesday, West, 33, launched another attack against the country star, 20, whom he famously ambushed at the 2009 Video Music Awards.During his rant, West seemed to suggest that the Speak Now singer used the VMA brouhaha to bolster her fame.
“Taylor never came to my defense at any interview,” West ranted. “And rode the waves and rode it and rode it,” he sniped of Swift.
Swift wasn’t West’s only target. The “Power” rapper also dug into Matt Lauer, with whom he recently tussled on the Today Show.
West charged that Lauer “exploited” him as they chatted about former President George W. Bush, who lamented that West called him a “racist” for his handling of Katrina.
Bush had said that West’s comment was a “lowest moment” in his Presidency; West also objected to the Today Show playing a video clip of the VMA moment during their Today Show interview.
“Because [of] the popularity of me, they exploited that…That’s not what he f*cking said!” West railed. “That’s not what he said! He said it was one of his lowest moments. But it shows you—the way they try to villainize, the way they tried to do that.”
-----
Sounds to me like Kanye is just pissed that Taylor will have sold more than half a million copies than what his album is predicted to sell this week. Bitter, much? Kanye has been trying to have an album open to over a million copies, but he hasn't been able to. Now Taylor does it. Haha.

Kanye West and Nicki Minaj to Debut Big Next Week
Looks like Kanye West and Nicki Minaj will go 1-2 on next week’s album chart. West’s much-acclaimed release My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy hit the streets yesterday and looks now like it will break 500k. Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj's debut album Pink Friday looks like it will debut with over 400k. Susan Boyle’s The Gift keeps on giving. This week, the Columbia album will repeat at #1, down only about 10-15% from last week’s total of 321k. With Black Friday looming, though, these numbers could all change.

Avril Lavigne Update!
Avril Lavigne spent the better part of a year waiting for her record label to decide what to do with her upcoming album. So now that all the release-date drama has finally been settled, she’s not about to waste any time before promoting the first single. On Sunday, Lavigne hit the American Music Awards to promote her triumphant return, and, as she told MTV News, she can’t wait to get back into the swing of things.
“My single’s coming out in January; it’s called ‘What the Hell,’” she said, “And my record’s coming out in March, so I’m pretty excited.”
Lavigne said that “What the Hell” will probably strike a chord with fans that have been with her since her snotty “Sk8r Boi” days, but added that the song isn’t exactly indicative of the material she’s compiled for the new album as producer Alex da Kid revealed last week. The still-untitled disc sees the former pop-rock princess pushing her musical boundaries, which means that, this time around, there’s a lot less sneering, and a lot more, well, maturing.
And that’s understandable: After all, it’s been nearly four years since Lavigne’s last album, and in that time, she’s grown up, and her music has too.
“This album is different … I’m older now, so I think that comes across in my music, it’s not as pop-rock and it’s a little more mellow and it’s deep,” she said. “But my first single is very ‘up’ and pop-rock. The first single is very much like my older stuff, but the rest of the album is a departure.”
She will be performing her first single next month at Dick Clark New Years Eve party.

Album Sales Prediction Are In! Biggest Week of the Year
Let's make it short, and easy to read. Straight to the point! The sales prediction for the many releases of this week has been released, and the #1 spot is not going to be a debut. Susan Boyle will keep the spot for a second week with her album The Gift, predicted to sell another 300,000 copies this week!Behind at #2 with the highest debut of the week comes America's Got Talent finalist Jackie Evancho. The ten year-old will sell around 270-290,000 copies of her album O Holy Night!
The next highest debut goes to Rihanna, whose album Loud is expected to end up selling between 180-190k copies this week.
Country group Rascal Flatts' latest album Nothing Like This is earmarked for between 170-180k - the same amount that is predicted for Keith Urban's Get Closer and Josh Groban's Illuminations.
Kid Rock returns with Born Free, his follow-up to the triple-platinum Rock N Roll Jesus, which is just behind that trio in the 160-170k range.
Finally, on to to the disappointing debuts:
Nelly's album 5.0 is predicted to sell between 55-60k while Lee DeWyze's album Live It Up is expected to sell 40-45k, which will be the debut album with the weakest first week sales of any previous Idol winner.
P!nk's Greatest Hits... So Far!!! album is predicted to sell the same amount as Lee DeWyze and finally, Norah Jones' compilation of duets, Featuring, will do 18-22k.

Dancing With The Stars Results: Ninth Elimination!
This was the season of the most unfair eliminations. I just don't get how Bristol Palin made it to the finals, when she has been the weakest contestant since the very beginning. Brandy deserved that spot on the final and it bugs me that she won't be there.
