It's like Michael Jordan coming back out to play in the NBA. She is past her best." the sixteen year-old Canadian singer told UK paper The Sun.

I agree with him, BUT I think at the same time it's hilarious that he's commenting on someone who has way more hits than he does.
Problem is, he say what others think and is right about it. He dared saying the truth but should stick with the regular behaviour: lying.

So a person got in trouble for having their opinions announced? Aren't they OPINIONS? Was there anything wrong with what he said, if your classmate or coworker were to say it? People diss him, and believe it or not, they can't sing either. I'm not a fan of either (But Mariah is too full of herself), but seriously, it's not like he made death threats. :\
People continue to confuse having the right to say something, called free speech, with forcing people to agree with them, I'll file that one under communism.
That said, I personally wish them both failure. Good health, personal happiness with their lives (and in Mariah's case, marital bliss as well), but commercial failure, so that they both shut up!

I totally agree with u Gabe... he's definitely gonna see a backlash from fans, either his or Mariah's... but even so, I have to agree.. Mariah's old stuff were much better than what she has now... Its like she stopped wow-ing me after "We Belong Together".. Touch My Body was ok, but the rest just went straight downhill!!
i respect his opinion. but i also think he should be more careful with saying this. mariah has always (except for a couple of instances) been respectful with what she says about other artists. she is sensitive enough to know she might hurt other artists' fans (because people do care about what coes out of her mouth). And even in the couple of times she did show her nastier side, it was later on in her career, when she was already the superdiva that she is
