Kelly Clarkson Update!

During a new interview on Chicago’s KISSFM, pop/rock diva Kelly Clarkson revealed that she’s already begun working on her fifth studio album, which will be due out Fall 2010.

“We’re already working on it. [The songs] are really different. The next record is going to be really different”.

She also revealed that she may not write the whole record either, which she blames on constant touring and releasing albums so close together (Clarkson's current tour does not wrap up until March 2010).

“If I end up liking stuff that I’ve done then I’ll include it, but if I like other stuff better I’ll use that. Sometimes you’re just more inspired I guess, and sometimes if you have records that come out really close together it might be more other peoples songs. Because there’s not enough time to write and sing and perform and do everything.”

Despite penning all the songs from her 2007 album My December, Kelly only wrote on six of the fourteen tracks from her latest effort All I Ever Wanted.

In other news, Kelly’s latest single “Already Gone” continues to rise on the Billboard charts after reaching a new peak of #17 this week. Rumour has it that “Don’t Let Me Stop You” will serve as the fourth single from All I Ever Wanted, which is now close to being certified Platinum.

Chelsea Handler the hilarious comedian from the E! late night talk show Chelsea Lately has graced the cover for the December 2009 issue of Playboy Magazine. No, Chelsea won't appear completely naked inside the magazine, bummer... but something is better than nothing. She looks damn good!

Miley Cyrus Voted Worst Celebrity Influence

It's a tumble from grace no one saw coming, especially Miley Cyrus.

In a recent online, the very people who helped Cyrus soar to super stardom voted the 16-year-old Hannah Montana star this year's worst celebrity influence.

Cyrus received 42% of the votes on an AOL poll featured on the internet service's "Just So You Know" website, which supposedly targets teenagers and tweens. Nearly 50,000 young girls weighed in on the poll.

Haha, couldn't agree more.

Alicia Keys Pushes Album Back

Alicia Keys' new album The Element of Freedom, originally scheduled for December 1st, is reported to have been pushed back to December 15th. The change in release date is reportedly because of the poor chart performance for lead single "Doesn't Mean Anything" which has only peaked at #61 on the Hot 100. Time for a new single I guess!

Out Today on the Big Screen!

An origin story set in the futuristic Metro City, Astro Boy is about a newly created robot (Freddie Highmore) with many powers, created by the grieving scientist Dr. Tenma (Nicolas Cage), in the image of the son that he has lost. There he meets a girl named Cora (Kristen Bell) and inadvertently becomes part of a world of robot gladiators led by the greedy, Fagin-like ringmaster Hamegg (Nathan Lane), before he returns to save Metro City from the evil president's (Donald Sutherland) renegade giant robot, and reconcile with the father who had rejected him.

"Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw's legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw's grand scheme is finally understood."

Saw VI was shot in Toronto under the direction of Kevin Greutert from a screenplay by Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan (the writing team behind Saw IV and V). The film is produced by Twisted Pictures' Mark Burg and Oren Koules.

The cast includes Costas Mandylor as Hoffman, Mark Rolston (Saw V, The Departed) as FBI Agent Erickson, Betsy Russell as Jill, Tobin Bell as Jigsaw, Shawnee Smith as Amanda, and Peter Outerbridge (ReGenesis, Land of the Dead) as William.

RW/RR Challenge: Tonya Vs. Veronica

The footage that actually aired last night on the MTV Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins of the fight between veterans Tonya and Veronica was just a little piece of what happened that night. We only got to see the best part, which was when Tonya slapped and dragged Veronica to the floor by her hair. But we didn't really get to see the entire argument that lead to the fight which would cause Tonya her place on the challenge. Check out above a video that surfaced on YouTube of the fight between those two. Too bad the actual hitting/slapping/hair-pulling isn't included on this one. Veronica seems to love to cause quite some trouble everytime she's on a challenge. We remember her fight with Katie on The Inferno 1? Classic! I love these challenges.
