Lil' Mama, who recently made the remix music video of "Girlfriend" with Avril Lavigne has released the second video from her upcoming debut album "Voice of the Young People", which has already produced a top-10 hit, "Lip Gloss". This song features the rhyme of a very classic child's song that might bring back memories from those missed kindergarden days - "The Wheels on the Bus". It's a very creative song, check it out.

2007 Country Music Association Awards: Nominees

The 41st Annual CMA Awards will be broadcast live from the Sommet Center in Nashville Wednesday, Nov. 7 (8:00-11:00 PM ET/delayed PT) on ABC Television Network. The final nominees in select categories were announced live Thursday, Aug. 30 on national television during “Good Morning America” with Sara Evans and Sugarland from the “Good Morning America” studios located in the heart of New York City’s Times Square. Leading the pack of nods is Brad Paisley who earned 5 total nominations for "Entertainer of the Year", "Male Vocalist of the Year", "Single of the Year" for his single "Ticks", "Album of the Year" for "5th Gear", and "Music Video of the Year" for "Online". George Strait also packed 5 nominations, followed close behind by "American Idol" winner, Carrie Underwood who was nominated for 4 awards including "Female Vocalist of the Year", "Song of the Year", "Single of the Year", and "Music Video of the Year" for her hit "Before He Cheats". Other nominees include Martina McBride with 4 nominations, Kenny Chesney with 4, Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp's duo The Wreckers received a nomination for "Vocal Duo of the Year"and new comers like Taylor Swift and Kellie Pickler were nominated for the "Horizon Award" - their version of "Best New Artist". Bo Bice Gets Ready To Release Sophomore Album

Remember Bo Bice? American Idol Season 4 runner-up to Carrie Underwood? Bo released his debut album "The Real Thing" in December 2005, the album was certified Gold in the U.S. by the RIAA, but he failed to promote the album any further resulting in dropping sales. Now, he's back and he will release his sophomore album called "American Blood" on October 23rd - same day that Carrie Underwood is releasing her sophomore album "Carnival Ride", is that funny or what? Anyway, the first single from this album will be a song called "I'm Gone", and as far as the sound of this album, Bo said, "On the next album I’d like to go more rootsy, more country, more southern rock". Can't wait to hear this one.

The Hills, Episode 4: Recap

This is a detailed recap of what happened on the fourth episode of season three of MTVs The Hills, written by me. If you have not watched the episode and would not like to know what happened then stop reading. Big spoilers coming up.

The new episode began with Heidi and Spencer visiting a Jewelry store, Heidi wanted to resize her engagement ring. It is there where Heidi asks Spencer to go with her to visit her family over the coming weekend, he agrees, although he does not look too happy because he already had plans. Brody and Spencer visit a car store, it's there where Spencer tell Brody that he won't go to their barbecue because he's going away with Heidi to vist her whole family - Brody is upset because they had a barbecue planned for that weekend for over two months. Afterall, Spencer decided to go away with Heidi saying hes "Excited" to meet her family. Back to the BBQ topic, at dinner, Lauren tells Audrina and Lo that Brody wanted them to go, and they agree. Audrina asks if it's ok to invite her "love interest" Justin, Lauren seems ok with it. After the break, Heidi and Spencer arrive to Heidi's small home town in Colorado. Heidi's mom comes out to greet them as well as Heidi's stepfather, siter and brother, they've all met and seem to like each other. Spencer then calls Brody to check in to the BBQ, Spencer seems bored, as everyone else in the BBQ is having fun. Avril Lavigne's upcoming single "Hot" is heard on the background as everyone in the BBQ play around and have tons of fun in the beach. Back to the outback in Colorado, Spencer and Heidi's family go shopping, her stepdad talks to her about Spencer to make sure they're taking their relatioship slow, later on while eating, everything seems peaceful until Heidi's dad takes Spencer out to talk one-on-one about Heidi, he does not seem too happy with the relationship - but he accepts it. On the other side, Heidi's mom seems happy about their relationship, BUT she is concerned that if they do brake up - what will happen then? Heidi says she's got a lot of friend to go to, when all of the sudden, Lauren is brought up in the conversation. Heidi's mom is sad about their dying friendship, but Heidi tells her that she is not in the mood to talk about it, and ends it by saying that she does not think Lauren and her will ever be friends again. At dinner, all the family talks and they're impressed with Spencer's "commitement", but they warn him that they'll go through hard times - but then Lauren is brought up in the conversation once again, Heidi's mom is clearly upste that they're not friends anymore, Heidi once again ends it by saying, "Why are we talking about Lauren?" In the end, they all go to bed on that note. Switching gears and flipping back to the BBQ, Lauren and Audrina are sitting as they watch JustinBobby flirt with other girls and pay no attention to Audrina. Brody asks where Whitney is, but Lauren tells him that she was not feeling well at all. Later on Audrina and Lauren sit to talk and Lauren tears up because she is also sad about her dead friendship with Heidi, then tells Audrina she loves her and could'nt have asked for a better roomate. Audrina is not left behind, Justin leaves without her and she says she's now done with Justin, Lauren and Audrina hug again and take off. On the next episode, Brody's and Spencer's friendship also take a drop because Spencer does not appreciate Brody hanging out with his "enemy", Lauren. Whoa, it just gets better and better!

Carrie Underwood's Sophomore Album Gets a Title

It has just been confirmed by the official Arista Records site at Jrecords.com that Carrie Underwood's second album due out October 23rd will be called "Carnival Ride". As of now, no official CD cover has been released. I find the name quite interesting, sound like it will be a fun album, can't wait. Also, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney and many more contribute holiday songs to an upcoming Christmas compilation disc coming out in October. "Hear Something Country Christmas" drops Oct. 2 from SonyBMG with 14 songs. Six were recorded exclusively for this collection. New songs, in addition to Underwood's, come from Sara Evans, Terri Clark and Kellie Pickler's rendition of "Santa Baby". Sounds very good to me!

Jordin Sparks was never my favorite on this past season of American Idol. Although she does have big talent, I tought there were people in the competition who had more potential of releasing a hit single (like Melinda or Blake?). Her debut single is called "Tattoo". Good vocals, good melody - boring song. I do not see this single rising to the top. American Idol has only had two winners who have made their names stand out and have broken records all around, Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood have won Grammys, and both have extremely successful albums which have broken sales records in the U.S. I wish Jordin the best, but her career will be very much safe, like Fantasia's. Vanessa Carlton has finally released the video for "Nolita Fairytale", first single from her upcoming album "Heroes and Thieves". Now this is one interesting video, if you've followed Vanessa's career, you will see that the first part of this video is very much alike her debut "A Thousand Miles", only this time she does not play on the piano all throughout the video, but she lets the piano get destroyed by a car. I really wonder what that means, it has to have a meaning behind it. As for the song, it's great. I wish her the best with this new project. Enjoy.

Kelly Clarkson Live at Canadian Idol

Kelly Clarkson has performed live at Canadian Idol. The newly-blonde performed two songs, her latest single "Never Again" as well as one of her best songs from the past, "Because of You". Her voice sounds tired to me, she needs to take care of that, as she does like to shout during some of her performances. During the show, Kelly received a Platinum certification plaque for her sales in Canada of her album "My December", as for the U.S., the singer has met much less success with "My December", achieving just a Gold certification so far. Also, it has been announced that her second single from that album will be the song "Don't Waste Your Time". Not the best song choice, anyway... enjoy the performance.

The Hills, Episode 3: Recap

This is a detailed recap of what happened on the third episode of season three of MTVs The Hills, written by me. If you have not watched the episode and would not like to know what happened then stop reading. Big spoilers coming up.

The episode starts with Lauren and Audrina talking about Justin, Audrina's new "love" interest. Lauren says she hasn't really gotten to know the guy and she would like to, it is then when Audrina invites her to eat dinner with them two. Lauren accepts, but obviously she's not too thrilled because her first impression of "JustinBobby" were not so good. Further on, Spencer and Brody meet up and go shopping, during which they talk about Spencer's engagement to Heidi and commitment. Spencer ends up buying a game arcade machine that has a big painted bug on the side, Heidi is clearly upset and asks when he will be returning the arcade, Spencer replies "Never, it's here to stay forever" - an argument in a friendly tone, to me, it was just for the cameras. Anway, then we see Whitney and Lauren at work, talking about Justin. They question themselves as to why Audrina is attracted to the guy, Lauren confesses she's going to try really hard to like the guy and give him another chance. At dinner with Audrina and Justin, Lauren is seen rather uncomfortable, Justin shows poor manners as he burps numerous times in the table. The dinner seemed to be quite short. When they leave the restaurant, Lauren is worried and asks Justin to drive safely and tells Audrina to be careful. After the break, Lauren and Audrina are seen tanning, talking about their night with Justin, they both say he was rude and disrespectful. Lauren says it was akward, now Audrina is second guessing if she wants to call Justin and hear what he has to say. Lauren asks Audrina if she's 100% done with Justin, she thinks but does not answer as Nelly Furtado's "All Good Things (Come to an End)" plays in the background. Then, we see Heidi and Spencer having another "friendly" argument about Spencer's decorations to their apartment. Clearly, Heidi is upset that Spencer is making all decisions about decorating without consulting her, he replies that he's not consulting because they're surprises. She does not look pleased. Returning to JustinBobby, Lauren meets up with her long-time Laguna Beach friend Lo. Lauren tells her that he's weird and rude, she says that she does not want to have another roomate with a another sucky boyfriend, she has already been there and she does not need to go there again. Lo agrees. Audrina meets up again with Justin, she tells him that he was rude and akward and Lauren did not appreciate him. He says he didn't mean to be rude or he didn't mean anything by it. Finishing up the episode, we see Heidi painting over the living room wall, which Spencer decorated with graffiti without consulting her. Spencer walks in the house and he is seen clearly pissed off when he sees Heidi painting over the wall. She shouts "Surprise!", she hated the wall and decided to paint over it without consulting him, that's what Spencer had been doing, so she tells Spencer that he cannot be mad at her. They talk and say that they NEED to talk and agree to make decorating decisions together. Heidi gets up and leaves the room, leaving the wall half-painted. Spencer then gets up to finish re-painting the wall. On that note, I can finish up the 3rd episode recap. I hope you enjoyed.
