Anyone remember American Idol runner-up Blake Lewis? Well, he's getting ready to release his sophomore album under the title Heartbreak on Vinyl this October and the first single from this one is called "Sad Song" which you can stream by clicking on the link above. I actually like the song. Enjoy!

The DownFall of American Idol Contestants, Pt. II

Remember when I posted about the DownFall of the American Idol Contestants a while ago? Well, this isn't stopping any time soon. Season 6 runner-up Blake Lewis joins the already large list of dropped Idols which include winners Rubben Studdard and Taylor Hicks and the runner-up Katharine McPhee. Blake Lewis, who released AudioDayDream in December has been dropped by Arista Records for poor album sales and for not scoring a charting single. It's sad, absolutely. His last shot at sales revival was during his live performance of his single "How Many Words" at American Idol during the past season... which resulted in no acceptance. If I'm to make a prediction... the next dropped Idol will be Season 6's finalist Phil Stacey who is currently signed to Lyric Street and released a country album that made a debut at #43 and has only old about 30,000 copies in total.

Although these Idols are being dropped, we can expect new sure-to-be hit albums by Season 5's Kellie Pickler who will release her sophomore album in September and season 7's winner David Cook, who will release his major-label debut album this fall.

Blake Lewis has returned to the Idol stage after becoming las year's runner-up. I still think he should've won last year, but well, things don't always go like you'd like them to. Anyway, he returned to perform the second single from his debut album Audio Day Dream. The song is called "How Many Words". Check it out.

Blake Lewis Live at The Tonight Show

Idol alum Blake Lewis has recently performed his debut single "Brake Anotha" at The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Blake has not had success with this single and his album is dropping rapidly out of the charts, I feel like it might be a little too late to begin promotion for this single. However, there are other songs in his album with hit potential, let's hope he does the right thing. Check it out.

Idol alumn, Blake Lewis, recently performed his debut single, "Break Anotha", live at AOL Sessions. The guy has a lot of stage energy, and I just can't seem to get enough of this song. His album, "AudioDayDream", is heading to open up on the Billboard charts with over 90,000 copies in sales.

This is my favorite song of the moment! I can't stop listening to the damn thing. "Break Anotha" is the debut single from American Idol runner-up Blake Lewis, whose debut album, "AudioDayDream" hit stores this Tuesday. The music video is a little too colorful, though, I like all the effects on it, it goes perfect with the song. I'll be picking up a copy of this album over the weekend, enjoy.

It's the first singles MP3 fest around here these days, isn't it? Well, here's one more. This one comes from American Idol runner-up Blake Lewis, this song called "Brake Anotha" is the first single from his debut album, "A.D.D." (which stands for Audio Day Dream). The song is really good, it's a different sound, a great sound. This song will definitely make an impact on the charts, it is also a ton better than Idol winner, Jordin Spark's boring "Tattoo". But, before I forget, Blake's album will be released on December 4th. Enjoy.
