T-Pain Wants to Work with Carrie Underwood

T-Pain, who has long used Auto-Tune to correct the pitch in his recordings, said Jamie Foxx’s use of it persuaded him to try it for the first time live Sunday.

At rehearsal, “I sounded terrible next to him. I said, ‘Wow, I should probably use it, too.’”

As for who he would like to work with next, T-Pain was enthusiastic and adamant. “Next on my list is Carrie Underwood. I swear to God. Everybody else can suck it until I get to Carrie Underwood.”

That would make an interesting collaboration.
