I'm pretty sad to see Haley go. She never had the fanbase Scotty and Lauren had from the beginning, but there is no doubt that Haley is a far better singer than our Top 2 and I'm sure she will have an extremely successful career.But on to our final two, it's the final with the youngest contestants ever, it's also the first country vs. country final yet! WHO DO YOU THINK WILL WIN? I want Lauren to win, just because I'm sick of the male winners.

To me, it's like season 6 all over again: two gals, one guy, one of the gals with the better overall performance got eliminated, making way for the one guy and the other gal to the finale. Except this time though, the guy does have talent, unlike the guy on the season 6 finale. :P
Anyway, well played Haley, it's kinda hard for me to believe she climbed all the way to Top 3 when I look back at her initial performances since the top 13.
Now, i don't really care who wins this season, Scotty and Lauren are both good country singers, although Scotty has become pretty boring lately and Lauren is overshadowed by the fact that her voice just isn't as good as Carrie.
i agree - these two are hopeless - hayley and james were definitely better!! idol just likes to pick people that we already have - weve already got a josh turner and carrie underwood (although lauren is no carrie, thats the best comparison i had)

I too was sad to see Haley go. I'm a fan, Haley! I hope she gets to release something. She's a talented girl with a heck of a personality. She seems like she'd be fun to hang out with. haha As for the finale? I'd like to see Lauren win, just so we don't have four white-guy-with-guitar winners in a row, but both will be successful in country.

Major buzzkill that Haley is gone. The most talented singer rarely wins this show. It is a popularity contest after all. Why Lauren has such a huge following I don't know. She never sang one tough song the whole show, and the 3 songs she sang last night were softballs, and 2 of the 3 she sang average on. I do admit she has improved over time but she is not in Haley's league. As I have been saying for weeks Scotty is going to win this, and if he doesn't dare I say Lauren might be one of the weakest winners ever.
I think Scotty will win this and i have to say he TOTALLY deserves too.
Haley should have been eliminated back when Pia was on the chopping block. No way in hell does that girl have more talent than Scotty.
It's about damn time somebody with some old school country blood won this damn thing.
(For those going to say it Carrie Underwood is NOT old school country)
Top 2 should have been Haley and James. Won't be watching now. Scotty is way too much like Josh Turner and Lauren thinks that she can be like Carrie Underwood, although, with her weak voice that pales in comparison, we know that's never going to happen. Bring on the X Factor!
BTW someone needs to get Lauren a new stylist stat! The girl looks like she walked into the 70s practically every week, and that prom dress, don't even get me started on that. I would probably rather have her win than Scotty, but they both are boring, predictable singers.
