-I gotta say, this is exactly what Lauren needed to give her a wake-up call. To me, Lauren can very easily win this entire competition, she has everything it takes, but she has played it way too safe since the beginning. There's almost no doubt to me that next week she's going to blow everyone out of the water, and she has to, otherwise she'll be in trouble. Again I say, Lauren can win and she will if she lets go and takes it to where she hasn't before.
-Interesting fact: this is the first time in four years that two girls make it to the Top 4! At the beginning of the competition, it didn't cross my mind Haley would make it this far, but I'm glad she has. Although I feel this will be her last week, I don't see her moving past Scotty, James and Lauren. But to me, she deserves a spot in the Top 3 instead of Scotty.

Although I picked Jacob to win, as the night progressed I was convinced Lauren was going home. Right now she is shattered, and I'm not quite sure she is going to be able to handle the pressure. She has yet to go out there and really grab the golden goose. Your right she plays it safe, and is often times too afraid to go for it. I did enjoy the time last week when she did push herself, but there still was plenty of flaws. While I've noted her improvement over the past few weeks, she did herself no favors with that righteous brothers song. Unless something drastic happens next week, she will be the next to go. The show finally admitted what had been speculated all along, that indeed Scotty has been the top vote getter all season. I don't expect it to change much. Look for a James and Scotty final or a Haley and scotty final.....with Scotty winning regardless of who he faces
By the way.....after listening to James second song again, it really wasn't as good as the first listen through. I'm down grading my original opinion of him this week, and putting him slightly below Lauren for grades

her two studio versions of her performances were the most viewed and rated on ITunes BY FAR...just shows how much people are interested in her.
we already have a better Lauren, Carrie Underwood that is, Scotty is boring, James is pitchy most of the time.

I would love to see Haley win. She has the most talented and recordable voice in the competition. Unfortunately I believe she will finish in 3rd. As much as I hate to say it she will get passed up by James who will finish second. James will be about as memorable as last years winner Lee Dewyze, only not as good of a vocalist as Lee. Scotty is the front runner in this, and the show finally admitted it as such Thursday. I don't see him losing any steam anytime soon. I have a hunch he is millions of votes ahead of the next closest challeneger
