Performances:
Jacob Lusk- "Oh No, Not My Baby"
Lauren Alaina- "Where You Lead"
Casey Abrams & Haley Reinhart- "I Feel the Earth Move"
Scotty McCreery- "You've Got a Friend"
James Durbin- "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow"
Lauren Alaina & Scotty McCreery- "Up on the Roof"
Casey Abrams- "Hi-De-Ho"
Haley Reinhart- "Beautiful"
James Durbin & Jacob Lusk- "I'm Into Something Good"

The Best Damn Blog thinks:
I've been against a male winning this season from the beginning, but James is making me change my mind! If a man were to win this season, James is it! Jennifer said it, he's been consistent from the start and Randy said he might be the one to win the whole thing. I agree! But anyway, on to tomorrow's bottom three, I think it's obvious the bottom three will be Jacob, Casey and Haley with Jacob going home. I would change Haley with Scotty in the bottom three though, but no way in hell that's happening. I don't get Scotty's appeal to be honest.

1. Haley- This was a show stealer. This performance once again shows that she does indeed have one of the best voices in this show. That song marinated like fine wine to a big finish. This was hot hot hot. As a side note why does Randy always pick on her?

2. Scotty- My favorite performance of his yet, which says a lot, because he’s had some real good ones. This song perfectly showcased his voice, and also brought out some new tones and range he had previously not really shown. The guy is just smooth as silk. At the end of this road I still expect Scotty to be one of the last few standing.

3. Lauren- Yes Lauren at number 3 you say? Highest rating for her from me yet. Her best performance to date. I don’t agree when Randy said safe and boring at all. I thought this song showcased to me that she does in fact have some vocals there. For the first time in a long time, I felt her reaching for notes, and actually putting herself out there and taking chances. She really had a great stage presentation and reeled me into the performance, something I’ve never said about her. She went from boring and robotic, to someone who finally had the guts to let her self go.

4. James- OK Maybe I wasn't as moved as the judges. It was probably one of his better showings for me though. I Like how it started, but not sure I like exactly where it ended. It seemed like he sang the song as it was intended for 3/4ths of the song, but then had to turn it into a rock song at the end. Had to sneak in a screech or two. The way the judges drooled all over it, I was like give me a break. Am I missing something. I seriously don’t think this guy is as good vocally as the judges want us to believe he is.

5. Jacob- What happened to you my friend. You started out this competition balls to the walls, and was my favorite early on to win it, but I gotta say this was not your best showing. While I liked it in parts, it did seem a bit choppy to me. You have mad mad vocals, but you kind of punted here a bit.

6. Casey- Mr. Grunt and growl is back. Holy crap this was just awful. I just can’t get a good vibe with where this guy is going. Just when I think I like what he’s doing, he pulls out crap like this. Never in the same season have I been all over the map up and down about one performer. Whatever this was, compared to everything else I heard tonight, this just needs to go away. As good as he sounded earlier in the show with Haley, this just failed for me. The worst part is 5 minutes later I can’t even remember the song he sang.

groups
1. Scotty and Lauren- Holy cats, get in the studio and record that one now. The vocals in that were smooth and sweet. Gave me chills literally.
2. Casey and Haley- I thought they both killed this song. What a fantastic fun performance. Is it just be or does Haley keep finding a new sweet spot in her register each week. She hit some notes in this song that were just like damn that was hot.
3. Jacob and James- Quite an odd paring up there. very awkward It was a hot mess to the say the least.

Bottom 3
Jacob
James
Casey
End of the road for Casey

I also don't get scotty he is like so what ever "one trick "man" voice" is not cool but he got the screaming crazy girls around like David Archuleta and Tim Urban so he will not go but at least I hope he don't go to the top 3.
