MTV's The Real World Picked Up For Two More Seasons

And the longest-running reality series in history just got a little longer. MTV's The Real World has been picked up for two more seasons: 27 & 28! The network is currently airing its 25th season, The Real World: Las Vegas, and are also holding auditions for their 26th season.

The first season of The Real World was filmed in 1992 in New York.

But The Real World isn't just another reality show, it has actually spawned some successful cast members. Here are just a few:
Mike "The Miz" Mizanin of Season 10: Back to New York is the reigning WWE Champion.

Jamie Chung of Season 14: San Diego is an actress and has appeared in Sorority Row, Dragon Ball: Evolution, Grown Ups, Sucker Punch, and the upcoming The Hangover 2. She was also in ABC's Samurai Girl.

Mallory Snyder of Season 13: Paris became a model and has appeared in two of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues.

Ironically, The Miz and Jamie both made their last MTV appearance in 2005 in The Challenge: The Inferno 2, in which they both were part of the winning team and walked away with over $150k.

Check out the video of The Miz and Jamie's challenge victory.
