Before the Christina Aguilera fan patrol falls on me... let me just say, I have no sympathy for a 30 year-old mother who chooses to act like this. Shame.

You forgot to mention that she was so drunk she couldn't stand on her own, she didn't know where she was, and didn't know her address. She also made the decision to get into the car knowing the driver was drunk.
She was arrested because the police saw she wouldn't be able to take care of her own self.
So try to minimize it all you want, but she fucked up.
I agree with you...however we must ask if we would judge harshly if it was a male. You never hear..."what a good father." At least nearly as much as a mother...seriously though...Christina should go into hibernation for a bit.
I don't think she needs to go into hibernation, I think she needs to come out with a kick-ass album t get her working and AWAY from instances like this. But whatever she comes out with next is going to flop again because of stuff like this. It's a shame, she's a great singer and artist.

Ate you serious? So because she's a mother she's NEVER allowed to have a drink or two or ten? Every one deserves a night out and it doesn't make her a bad parent or a bad role model. Nobody said she can't drink and have a good time. However there is a big difference in having a drink or 2 and being arrested for being drunk and disorderly and not even knowing your address. There is a line. And she crossed it so she was put in the slammer just like she should have.
Also I don't see what Britney or her vagina has to do with this? Typical Xtina fan insulting someone else while the real problem at hand is being ignored.
She has a drinking problem and got into a car with a drunk driver that could have killed her, himself and innocent people on the road. Deal with it. Don't throw the shade at other pop divas and ignore it.
