Throwback Friday: Alanis Morissette- "Ironic"
And we're going back to 1996 again. The 90's really had some of the best music I've ever heard! "Ironic" was released as the fourth single off Alanis Morissette's album Jagged Little Pill. The single hit #1 in Canada, #3 in Australia and New Zealand, #4 in the US and Norway, #6 in the Netherlands and #8 in Germany. Making this one of her most successful singles ever.
"Ironic" was nominated for Record of the Year at the 1997 Grammy Awards.
Jagged Little Pill went on to sell 16 million copies in the United States and 33 million worldwide. If only albums still sold like this.

Back then the internet wasnt so hot yet... so buying the albums became non-optional I guess xD
The 13th best selling album of all time.
Its a pity they don't make artists like Alanis anymore.
