Christina Aguilera has canceled her plans for a summer concert tour, which was supposed to kick off in July.Her rep says, “Christina Aguilera’s summer tour has been moved to 2011 due to prior commitments that the singer had made to her film, Burlesque, and to the promotion of her new album, Bionic. The singer felt she needed more time to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album release and tour date this wasn’t possible.”
Christina will still release her new album Bionic on June 8.
They can give all the excuses they want, we know the reason they canceled the tour is because Christina is having a pretty weak comeback and ticket sales are probably pretty disappointing.

I'm excited for the album and the tour! And most of the time I would be skeptical of a cancelled tour, but maybe she isn't actually prepared? I thought it was odd that she planned the tour so close to the album release, but maybe she was hoping she wouldn't have to cancel? I think this may not be the best Christina album, but it'll be amazing nonetheless because she has killer vocals.

I don't think that the sales were bad, they just started the selling 4 days ago!!!
I do hope so that there is no health problems or family problems with her.
that is probably not the reason i think she cancel her tour because her album leaked two weeks before i came out and i already heard it and it sucks...probably worst album of 2010.....and she saw that nobody liked her album because its like in the top 20 in itunes and its two weeks till it comes out and its not going up...so there is no reson to promote an album that sucks....thats what i think...and i love christina mostly spanish...
omg the cd sucks, how old are some of you? There is like one or 2 good songs at most on this gimmick of an album. She tried so hard and put out 20 songs on that album trying to be a mixture of all this bullcrap she tried to be! She just mimmicked what's on the radio and put it on a cd and is trying to scam her fans into buying it. Sry, Come back with "back 2 basics" and I'll purchase that!
She tried to sell the tour tickets before she released the album so that people would buy them before they heard the awful album. Now that the album leaked to awful reviews and the tickets sold bad she has been forced to cancel.

She was the top 4th best seller on ticketmaster. If you don't know other reasons then you shouldn't be talking, sheesh start rumors! Christina is a perfectionist especially when it comes to her tours, so I don't blame her for wanting it to be perfect for HER fans.
she is a perfectionist. with her music and tour and everything. she just wants everything to be perfect for her fans. i think the album is hot! not her best but still hot. and for all of you about the itunes chart, the reason is the freakin album hasn't released, they can't really push an album that hasn't been released yet if there are some people who have not listened to the whole album yet, so chill, give it a month and then you all can judge on the album
If she is a perfectionist why is she releasing the album?
