Well, Kelly Clarkson is basically black sheeped. Ruben like vanished. I think Fantasia sank to celebreality shows, Taylor and Jordin have like no careers, I haven't heard anything from David Cook for a while. It's too soon to tell if Kris Allen is in career trouble. Which makes Carrie 'the' American Idol.
^Ruben, Kris and David have all been on Idol this season already.
Kelly Clarkson has been on this special before, but is touring right now, so she likely won't be there. David Cook was just in Ethiopia taping a piece for this, so he will be there and will likely perform for the second time this season.
