MTV has updated their list of performers for the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, that will air live from Hollywood, California on the 7th of September. Some of the new names added to the performers list include Christina Aguilera and Kanye West. The opening act's name has also been revealed, and it's up to Britney Spears to make a proper comeback, although it's been said she will not be performing, instead, she will open the show doing something different and unexpected.
