This singer has been around for a while, but this is her first single to gain so much buzz and her first Billboard Hot 100 charting single (#5). Heck, it's her first song I hear on the radio! M.I.A. has recently released the song "Paper Planes" from her sophomore album Kala. The song is definitely one of the most original songs as of lately, and it's something completely different from the Disney Pop stuff we're hearing on radio these days.
