Jessica Simpson has made her first Billboard Hot Country Songs debut with her new single
"Come on Over" at #41! The song, as predicted, was the most-added single to country radio over the past week and it continues to rise. It now stands with around three hundred spins and over three million in audience. In fact, this makes Simpson the highest charting debut solo artist in the history of Billboard’s country singles chart. The previous record belonged to
Miranda Lambert and
Brad Cotter who both debuted at No. 42. Again, congrats to Jessica for her early single success.
