The first night of the final Top 12 kicked off, and with it a new stage and look for American Idol. Most of the performances were good with the exception of three maybe four who were real bad. Ramiele Malubai bored America to death while she performed "In My Life", Kristy Lee Cook - as much as I love this girl - I must say she probably made the worst mistake of her life by singing "Eight Days A Week" in full country style... and David Archuleta commited an Idol crime while performing "We Can Work It Out", the kid forgot his lyrics several times in the song and it was too obvious. Besides, the song he chose was just plain bad. The other one I didn't like was David Hernandez. Now, question is: who will go home? I say it's between Ramiele and Kristy, I would think David Archuleta, but the kid as a huge fan base behind him so I'm guessing he'll be safe.
Moving on to the good, Carly Smithson, Brooke White and David Cook - were freakin' great! Definitely the best performances tonight! Choosing a best performance between those three was hard work, but in the end, I decided to pick Brooke White's "Let It Be". Brooke did incredible and you could tell by her emotions that she put her all in this song. Check it out above! Enjoy.
