RW/RR Challenge: The Gauntlet 3 Major Update

Four episodes into the season we've seen the Rookies get their butts beat in every single mission by what seems to be the stronger and wiser Veterans. We've also seen three Rookies go home after losing a Gauntlet match against a teammate.

Here's the rundown.
The rookies considered Alex from the Real World Denver cast a weak player and was sent in to fight against the Veterans' Gauntlet pick, Nehemiah (RW Austin). Alex eventually gave up and was sent home after he decided he could not pull Nehemiah's weight through the sand on the Guantlet game of selection Force Field.

On the Rookies' second lost mission, it was a female Gauntlet day, therefore, the Vets considered sending Jillian (Road Rules Xtreme) to the Gauntlet because she is indeed one their strongest female player. The Rookies deliberated and voted Angel (RR Viewer's Revenge) to go in. Both were thrown in to battle it out for a chance to continue on the competition. It was a close game of Ram It Home, where Jillian managed to push Angel all the way to the other side after both struggled for quite a while. Angel was eliminated.

The third mission came around and the veterans celebrated as they had won their third mission in a row. This time the Vets (or actually just Johnny) decided to pick RW Key West's Tyler to go into the Gauntlet and the Rookies, after a long voting procedure, chose Frank (RW Las Vegas) to go in. The game to play was Force Field, where Frank came out victorious as he managed to pull Tyler's weight with no problem. This is where we're standing so far.

With no surprise at this point, the Veterans win their fourth mission in a row on tonight's first episode. The rookies are now angry and wondering what they're doing wrong. During the Gauntlet, Jillian is once again picked by the Vets to go in, while the Rookies team send in their weakest (and weirdest) player Brooke (RW Denver). The game the girls play is called Ball Brawl, where Jillian wins for a second time eliminating Brook. Then miz Brooke takes her anger out on Johanna (RW Austin). Again, this goes down on tonight's first episode.

During the second episode airing tonight, the Rookies blindfolded and lead by Johanna's voice finally win a mission! It's about damn time. They're extatic, except Tyrie (RW Denver) who gets a call about his sister having open heart surgery and decided to go home in the aftermath. The rookies loose a player although they had won the day's mission and were all saved from elimination. The gauntlet must go on and the Rookies choose to send one of the vets strongest males in, Evan (Fresh Meat). Johnny Bananas (RW Key West) is then sent in by his Vets team to face Evan. This causes Johnny to blow up at his team especially CT (RW Paris) who threw his name out in deliberation. The game they play is sliders where they have to solve a puzzle. Evan pulls off a win sending Johnny home. But what's to happen with the empty spot Tyrie left in the Rookies' team? Well, MJ from the Real World Philadelphia is flown in to take his place. Interesting.
