The two-time Grammy winner and American Idol champ woke up this morning to find out that her debut album "Some Hearts" has been certified 7x Platinum this week by the RIAA for shipments of over seven million copies in the US alone. The album is not only the fastest and best selling debut country album in history, but also the best selling album by any American Idol alumn. Her current album "Carnival Ride" has been certified 2x Platinum and selling steadily. Tak about massive success! Unbelieveable. Congrats to Carrie.
