Pocket Full of Good News for Natasha Bedingfield

Natasha Bedingfield crashes the Billboard 200 with her "Pocketful of Sunshine" debuting at No. 3 with 50,000. That's not only a new chart high for her, but this is also her best sales week. Her first album, 2005's "Unwritten," peaked at No. 26 upon its debut with her previous best sales week: 34,000. The new album was led by the single "Love Like This" (featuring Sean Kingston), a top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. Additionally, the tune has sold 777,000 digital downloads to date ... "Pocketful of Sunshine" has had an interesting journey to its release. Originally titled "N.B.," the set bowed in spring 2007 in Europe. However, it was greeted by mediocre sales and failed to produce major hit singles. Perhaps in response to that reception, the American version of the album only retains six of the songs from "N.B." and adds seven recently recorded tunes (including lead track "Love Like This"). Natasha has met a bigger success in the US, where she's had numerous Platinum-selling hits like "These Words", "Unwritten" and "Love Like This".
