This Week's Billboard Top 10 Albums


Josh Groban continues to outsell every album on America with his Christmas album, "Noel". For a while now, he has managed to sell over 500K a week! His total now stands at 2.1 million albums sold, one of the most successful Christmas albums of all time. At number two, we find Miss Alicia Keys, who sold another 234,000 copies of her album, "As I Am", bringing up the total to 1.5 million copies sold.

Number three goes to The Eagles' first album in many many years, "Long Road Out of Eden", selling 204,000 copies for a total of 1.9 million records sold. At number four, we find Now, That's What I Call Music! 26 - the compilation album sold 158,000 copies bringing up the total to 727K.

The next two spots belong to Disney Soundtracks, numero 5 goes to Hannah Montana's soundtrack, which sold 132,000 copies, the album's total now is of 1.9 millions. Then there's the High School Musical 2 soundtrack at number six, that with 128,000 copies sold this week, it now stand at 2.5 million copies on its side.

Number seven belongs to Idol winner, Carrie Underwood, whose album, "Carnival Ride", sold another 102,000 copies, bringing her total up to 1.2 millions. Number eight goes to Garth Brooks album, "Ultimate Hits", which is now at a total of 964K albums sold.

Country artist, and Grammy nominee, Taylor Swift, holds on to the number nine slot, selling 98,000 copies, for an album total of 1.8 million copies - Double Platinum album for the birthday girl, who turns 18 today! And finally, Idol runner-up, Blake Lewis debuts at #10 selling 97,000 copies of "AudioDayDream". Funnily enough, this is the same spot where Jordin Sparks debuted weeks ago.

In coming weeks, these number will shoot out the roof, as holiday sales being to reflect.
