50th Annual Grammy Awards: Nominees

The nominees for the 2008 50th Annual Grammy Awards Ceremony have been announced, and Kanye West has a lot to celebrate about, as he leads the pack with 8 nods including Album of the Year, followed by Amy Winehouses' 6 scored nominations, including the big four, Album Of The Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist. Wow! Other nominees for Best New Artist include Taylor Swift, Paramore, and Feist. Three-time Grammy winner, Carrie Underwood, has been nominated for another four awards, including: Song of the Year, Best Female Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song - all for "Before He Cheats". and Best Country Collaboration with Vocals for "Oh Love" with Brad Paisley. Daughtry also scored four nods including Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group. Christina Aguilera is nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Perofrmance for "Candyman", and Beyoncé and Shakira are nominated for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals for "Beautiful Liar".
