Due to the commercial failure of Vanessa's second album, "Harmonium", Vanessa parted ways with her old label. She signed with Irv Gotti's record label The Inc in late 2006, and has been recording new music. "Nolita Fairytale" will be the first single, and released sometime this summer. Her third album, "Heroes and Thieves", is currently scheduled to be released on October 9, 2007. The first single has that piano sound that she is mostly known for. I think the song is really good and if given the proper attention this will become very successful, although I doubt it will become nearly as big as her debut "A Thousand Miles".
