Also Coming Friday- Hostel: Part II and Surf's Up

Coming to big screens near you tomorrow as well is Hostel: Part II the upcoming sequel to Eli Roth's 2005 film Hostel. For those horror film fans out there, this is definitely the movie to check out this weekend. However, the film has been rated R for sadistic scenes of torture and bloody violence, terror, nudity, sexual content, language and some drug content. Whoa! Looks like you won't be able to take your children with you to see this one. Talking about kids, if you're planning on seeing something more "innocent" you can go watch the PG-rated cartoon film Surf's Up, a parody of surfing documentaries using profiles of teenage penguins featuring the voices of Shia LeBeouf and Jon Heder. Great choices of films this weekend.

Surf's Up!

Yes! Another animal cartoon movie is getting released this summer. Surf's Up is a film produced by Sony Pictures and distributed by Columbia Pictures scheduled to be released on June 8, 2007 in the U.S. Surf's Up profiles teenage Rockhopper penguin Cody Maverick (Shia LaBeouf), an up-and-coming surfer, as he enters his first pro competition. Followed by a camera crew to document his experiences, Cody leaves his family and home in Shiverpool, Antarctica to travel to Pen Gu Island for the Big Z Memorial Surf Off.

This sounds like it will be a good movie. :)
