Kendra Wilkinson on the Cover of Playboy Magazine

After announcing she wouldn't pose for Playboy again, Kendra Wilkinson shocked and confused fans after being featured on the cover of the men's magazine's December issue.

So why is she on the latest cover of Playboy?

The reality star set the record straight on her blog Tuesday, telling fans that the cover photo was from an old shoot.

"I AM on the December cover of Playboy but it wasn't from a recent shoot. The photos are from a shoot I did 2 years ago when I was still living in the mansion," she explained. "I'm flattered to be on the cover again and as you all know Playboy has a very special place in my heart! I just wanted you guys to know I didn't recently pose."

On the season premiere of her E! reality show "Kendra," the 25-year-old was shown posing for a racy test shoot while wearing a green bra, black panties and black thigh-high boots.

In the episode, Wilkinson struggles with the decision of whether to pose for the magazine, run by ex-boyfriend and media mogul Hugh Hefner, again.

"I can still be sexy and have fun and be a sexy mom and not pose nude," she said to husband NFL athlete Hank Baskett, with whom she has an 11-month-old son with. "Maybe Playboy is the answer. I need to get back to being me again. The real Kendra, the crazy, free spirit."

However, the former "Girls Next Door" star recently told E! Online that she had a change of heart about posing after having a heart-to-heart with Baskett.

"He actually sat down with me and he went over the reasons of doing it," she todl E!. "I wanted to do Playboy for the wrong reasons."

From their room at Clarian North Medical Center, the proud parents, who wed on June 27 at the Playboy Mansion in L.A., opened up to OK! about their big (9 pounds, 5 ounces, and 22 inches!) bundle of joy — only in the new issue of OK!, on sale everywhere Thursday!

Congratulations! How are you feeling?
Kendra: Thanks. I have labor brain. I forgot everything that happened!
Hank: I am in straight awe, trust me.

How did you prepare for coming to the hospital?
Kendra: The good thing about being induced is that it’s like planning a trip, just very calm. We ate a huge dinner before we came to the hospital. I ate a whole batch of brownies because I was nervous. No wonder he’s 9 pounds!

What happened at the hospital?
Kendra: I was induced early in the morning; then it was wait, wait, wait. I was experiencing contractions throughout the day, and I was anxious. I kept checking the monitor every second, like “Is it happening yet?”

Here's some happy news. Kendra Wilkinson has announced that she is expecting a baby with soon-to-be husband Hank Baskett. The mother-to-be says:

"hi everyone!!!! so the rumors are true…i am pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hank and i were beyond excited when we found out the news and ive been dying to tell all of you but we were waiting for the perfect time to do it. im sorry if you heard it first elsewhere…that's not how i wanted it to happen, but im so glad its out in the open now…

i honestly still can’t believe that soon hank and i are going to have a little athlete running around the house. seriously, the first thing this kid is going to see when its born is a football hahahahaha…

Kendra Debuts With Record Breaking Numbers

Kendra Wilkinson's Girls Next Door spinoff, Kendra premiered to record breaking numbers for E! on Sunday.

The new show was the highest-rated reality debut for the network since 2002's premiere of The Anna Nicole Show!

Kendra's Sunday night debut on E! pulled in 2.6 million viewers for the cable network and a 1.8 rating for adults between 18 and 49.

That's great! If you haven't seen the first episode yet, you may want to check when it will repeat. It was hilarious, easy to see why it brought in such big numbers. Congrats to Kendra!

Girls Next Door Get Own TV Shows

As we all know by now, the Girls Next Door have all moved out of the Playboy Mansion and are now on their own. However, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridgett Marquardt already got their own shows premiering this summer. Kendra is staying on E! with a new reality series titled Kendra which will focus on her life after Playboy, the preview, which you can see above actually looks interesting. And Bridget has her own show on the Travel Channel called Bridget's Sexiest Beaches and the commercial for that can be found below. What the hell is this one about? Haha. For those MTV Road Rules fans, the girl with Bridget in the promo is Road Rules' own Cara Zavaleta who was a Playmate in 2004 and went on to appear on MTV's The Gauntlet 1, 2 and The Inferno 3. What about Holly Madison? Well, you can catch her on the new season of Dancing With the Stars replacing Jewel who withdrew due to a knee injury.
