Countdown Update

At the beginning, it seemed like a lot more people were interested in this. The first poll got 600 votes but it's been going down ever since. Last week we got 400 and this week it seems like we're only headed to 300 votes. I enjoy making the countdown and the video for everyone, but if the interest is dying I will not be putting more effort into making this happen. I'm not going to cancel this project just yet! I'm going to complete this week and if the numbers continue to drop for next week's poll then you will see the final countdown next week.

So, if you're one of the 600 who voted on the first poll and haven't done so since and still want to see the countdown around, then vote! The poll is located to your right on the sidebar... easy to locate. :)

300 is still a lot of votes. Should be grateful that people are voting!

@Robbie - why should he settle for less when he knows he can get more?

I vote every time! I hope that the 300 people that have stopped voting do it again. I love the countdown and would hate to see it go.

Its Boring, Remove this feature, heck its even annoying!

i was one of the 600 but why bother voting if the videos you vote for never make the cut? suggestion make a slide or two of the videos (out of however many) you've listed to vote on and show where they landed on the countdown-not the videos themselves but like a slide from say 30-21 with video/artist name so we know where our favorite landed

i personally appreaciate all the work you put into the blog and the countdown
many thx

I think you should do the poll for a two weeks term. ;) Not every week.

I think two weeks would be a better interval too! You would get more votes and it's less work per week.
I hope the countdown doesn't go; I sure vote every week!
