The Best Damn Blog Thinks:
Sh*t will hit the fan if one of the two remaining girls falls in the bottom three tomorrow night. Vote for those two girls! So who deserves to be in the bottom three? 1.) Stefano, the dude has a killer voice, but like I said last week, he doesn't do anything different... and I don't understand why Pia was getting crap for singing a ballad every week, but they haven't said a word to him about that. He has done ballads since the start. 2.) Jacob, his performance was probably one of my favorites from this guy, but going before James didn't help him at all. Jacob probably had the most forgettable performance of the night. 3.) Casey. One question: how the F did he get a standing ovation for this? To me, I feel like Casey may have just given Stefano another week on the show.P.S. James owned tonight! James is one of three contestants I would like to see win. He's constantly great, he's never boring and he is a real performer, dude is amazing.

First of all before I actually do my grades for this evening. I must say I was very uncomfortable about the extended length of time they went on and on about Casey. To me it seemed so set up it's not even funny. Nobody in the room I was watching the show with tonight thought that was that great of a performance, and a few of us were snickering as it was going on. Then the fact that the only person they heaped any form of criticism on was Haley who followed. It was after that demonstration I was convinced we were looking at a set up, a pure pandering for votes by the judges. Casey is their guy, and with Pia being voted off, they all got together and said hey, we need to make him look really good tonight. I proposed this to the group I was watching the show with and everyone agreed. Let's face it as much as I like Paul, his performance had flaws all over it. Lauren was pretty much monotone until the end of the song. So yes there were other performers who could have been knocked but they chose not to. So convenient they knock Haley. They've knocked her before, so to most of the viewing public they might not notice this was a voting coup. But I'm not fooled
Completely agree with everything you said. James is one of my favorites along with Haley and Lauren and I actually want him to win. Those 3 guys definitely should be in the bottom 3. Stefano, Casey, and Jacob = overrated as hell. Praying that Hayley and Lauren won't be in the bottom 3. James had the best performance of the night by far!
Tonights Grades
1. Jacob- he took his spot back on the perch tonight. He nailed this performance like only Jacob can.
2. Haley- I thought this was right in her wheelhouse. Was shocked to have her universally panned, but as I mentioned earlier I'm very suspicious she was the only one to get dumped on. She was part of a judge vote pandering set up. To me not only was this performance outstanding it shows she is growing as an artist, and actually learning in the process.
3. James- What can I say he put on a show, and he nailed the vocals on this, easily his best performance. Coming from who's never been a fan this is amazing.
4. Stefano- I just love hearing him sing. He could make a hit with that song all over again
5. Scotty- I don't think I have ever rated him this low, but it's not because he did a bad job, its just that a few others did so much better
6. Paul- While not a technically perfect routine (he never is), but it was entertaining.
7. Lauren- the gal is a broken record. She stopped competing weeks ago, but the judges will never tell her that. Talk about someone who is just going through the motions. She borily sang that song for all but the last 10-15 seconds of it. Just an uninspiring performance, but genius song selection. who's hotter than Miley Cyrus among the teen crowd. That will keep her in the show another week
8. Casey- ugh. He took a huge step back for me this week. I think the fact the judges went on and on about it made me hate it more.
Bottom 3
Stefano- only because America seems to be missing out
Lauren- people are going to start seeing through this pretender, but I think Miley Cyrus keeps her around yet
Casey- The judges darling goes finally goes home

Haley for the win !
The worst of the evening for me were: Paul (as usual), Casey (he was off note most of the song!) and Haley. I wanted to these girls dominate, but the best two in my opinion were sent home too soon (Pia and Thia). My favorite was Stefano by far. You can say he does the same stuff, but he has the best voice (left). I don't get James, Lauren, Paul, or most of the contestants. The judges are basically saying "You're great" to everyone. They have no point. Also, isn't this a vocal competition? In no way is Paul or Casey better than some of the voted off contestants. This has been one of the weirdest mixed up seasons.
Stefano needs to get the fuck out!!!, now I still love Paul and Casey but I have my doubts of them be on the top 3, Jacob, Haley and Scotty good..but still boring ass hell like Pia not memorable, James and Lauren they keep it great as always.
You know what will be amazing? if Paul and Casey change songs I think Casey wil be more great with "Old Time Rock N Roll" when I that song I was like "YAI CASEY!!!" Then I see Paul's name and I was like "eh?" and I think Paul will fit more with Casey's song also.
I don't know how anyone with two ears between their head could say that Stefano needs to get the fuck out! I just don't get some of the unbridled hatred for this guy. If there is anyone in this contest who takes it all in, listens and makes the improvements each week it is him. I feel if there is one contestant working his ass off, it's him. The guy simply has an amazing set of pipes. He reminds me a lot of Lee last year, in how week by week he comes more and more comfortable on stage. Personally I think he's a better singer than Lee.
JAMES: i think james will win this thing, he is really consistent and he's an entertainer.. every time he took the stage seems like we're in his concert..
JACOB: he has the best vocals by far, but he's really teatrical and monotonous i don't think he will win..
HALEY: oh.. what can i say about her.. she sings really sexy and his style it's no a comun thing..
CASEY: the thing about him it's that he always do something different, that's why he will stand for another 3 weeks at least, but he's not that good to win
STEFANO: he need more confident because he's really great.. but he need to variate a little the songs it's always the same
SCOTTY: he is great.. america must love him because i don't think they will find another country singer like him.. doesn't have the best vocals but at least he will end in the fifth position
LAUREN: hmm i'm not really a fan, always sing the same.. but it looks she can be better
the next bottom 3: LAUREN, CASEY, JACOB or STEFANO
