This is what she kept us waiting this long for? Disappointing in so many different levels. I would expect a lead single this weak from Ke$ha, but not from Britney.

People are going to eat it up because music is all dancing now. Not anyone with real talent like Kelly Clarkson or anyone who actually puts a lot of thought and real music on their albums. Hopefully it'll turn back around, though.
This is actually a fairly strong single.. IT WILL grow on you after a few listens.. but this is not bad no where near bad on many levels.. it's not her best but it's certainly not garbage..
Maybe it will grow on you, who knows. Personally, I really hate this electro trend, but I think her song is really nice and it's Britney... Come on. She's just showing the others how it's done, and I think she's doing a great job.

You could consider Ke$ha's songs weak, but look how successful they're making her, and how long those songs have been on the charts. They're simple, repetitive, somewhat generic, and they all have the same techno synths in the background. BUT THEY'RE DAMN CATCHY.
So? Britney's simply joining the bandwagon and making an upbeat, energetic pop album that, as all of her other albums, will do extremely well, I'm sure.
Hey ... i dont think you have the actual single Gabe, I think this ones a tiny bit faster ... im not personally in love with this either .... I think the beat is cool, and I think the breakdown will be sick in the video ... but that chorus is bland! Im thinking there will be some sick remixes too cuz let's face it ... this track is pretty plain. Its bubblegum chorus though is enough to make it a #1 .... tweens will love it ... those of us who've loved her since '98 though are gonna be a little disappointed
I actually hated this at first... but compared to all that cheap euro-dance beat songs out there right now... Britney's is the HOTTEST :) This song has been stuck in my head all night so far!

I don't understand the haters, I am loving Brit Brit's new track. I think this is one of her best songs ever! I love the lyrics and the beat is SICK! Brit Brit is here to stay and will rule the charts with this...I'm guessing next week we'll have a new #1. :)
I'm not surprised... "Simple" pop from Britney. Doesn't make you think, no depth to the lyrics. Just her usual simplicity. It's just okay. (I can't believe people arguing over this.. saying it's the best song ever. Wow.)
