Britney Spears Dominates iTunes Around the World

Britney Spears' new single "Hold It Against Me" has hit the #1 spot on iTunes in less than 24 hours, and not just in one but in nearly twenty countries. Including the U.S. Amazing. Congrats to her! I still think the song is weak though, no matter how much I play it to change my mind.

I also think that it's very weak. I've listened to it several times but I still just don't really like it. The lyrics are the weakest part in my opinion. Guess I'll have to wait until GaGa's new single comes out on Feb. 13 to hear a great new pop song.

LOL... if you think "rah rah ooo lala" and "show me your teeth.. ahhh.. show me your teeth".. are good lyrics.. then you're an idiot.
All the mainstream songs in the industry have garbage lyrics (including Britney's songs on the last few albums).

Personally I prefer more indie artists where they don't resort to sexism and rather focus on the art and talent.

Agreed. She takes forever to come out with music and then it's just ehhhh... You'd think she'd have better songwriting from all the people she probably hires.... nope. It's always 'simple' pop. It definitely doesn't blow me away. It's just okay.

I'm beautiful in my way,
'Cause God makes no mistakes.
I'm on the right track baby,
I was Born This Way.

Don't hide yourself in regret,
Just love yourself and you're set.
I'm on the right track baby,
I was Born This Way.

Those are some of the lyrics to the yet to be released song of Lady GaGa's called 'Born This Way.' All you did Anonymous #2, was point out some of her weakest lyrics. 'Born This Way' has an amazing message and will be a great song when it comes out in full.
