Christina Aguilera has revealed that she has moved on from her latest album Bionic.The LP – Aguilera’s first in four years – peaked at number one in the UK with the lowest opening-week sales for an album ever. It dropped to number 29 the following week.
Speaking at a press conference for her new movie Burlesque, she said: “The creative process that involved Bionic is over, I did what I wanted to do and I’m satisfied with it. If the album sells or if the songs are a hit, I don’t care and I don’t need to know it, I did my part and I gave 100% while I was doing it, and I’m proud of this work.”
Discussing the film, she added: “Burlesque was a different process, I’ll support this project util the end, but not to find out if it was a box office hit or not – that is not what motivates me.
“The creative process is my thing, I’m an artist and once something is over, I look forward for what is next, and I don’t look back.”

That's an old interview. The words are out of context, she said that even before release You Lost Me video, so...lol but a magazine take all those words back and make a new article like "new". Even her manager said that "Bionic era is not over" In fact, that interview is from Panamá, months ago.
I'm not one of her biggest fan, but I really liked the album. And her reaction deceives me. It's just like she's saying that she doesn't care about the people who were actually rooting for her.
That's typical reaction when famous artist has a flop album ("I'm creative, I don't care about the success"). If the album would be successful, I'm sure she wouldn't say that "It's over, I don't care about it anymore" - she would be releasing more singles and doing music videos etc.
well i'm glad that she moved on and is gonna make more music or whatever shes gonna do, and i'm kinda sad cuz Bionic was a good album with some catchy songs and i thought she should've at least put out at least maybe 2 more songs.
WTF!!!!!! NOOOOO she can't do that!!!!!! this is an amazing album, I want her on tour =(, well I guess she really was pissed of because all the comparision to lady gaga, it's sad that she gave up without fighting but I hope that she starts working on a new album now and not in 4 years!!!!!...honey get back to work

She always cares about her music. Ever since Stripped, Back To Basics, Bionic, she just cares about putting her music out there. Sales don't matter to her because she cares more about the music itself instead of the numbers which is what ever artists should care about. I'm glad she is proud of Bionic because it is a great album. The best female album this year!
