The Recording Industry Association of America has announced that Britney Spears has officially sold over 100 million records, making her the best selling artist of the 2000’s, according to Hollyscoop. In addition, she is the fifth overall female artist to join the ranks of Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey who have also sold over 100 million albums.Wow! Congrats to Britney. That's amazing.

Imagine how many more she could have possibly sold if she wasn't (to put lightly) "out of it" for half a decade?
To "Mitchy" - Just be glad that she's back on her feet and she has left the past behind her. Yeah she struggled a few years back but SO WHAT!!!! Everyone struggles some point in their life. But congrats Britney!!!! She deserves ALL her scucess and the continuance of her future success.
5th overall female? Im guessin the other one is Celine Dion? What about Barbara Streisand?
