interesting. i thought Shrek is #1 this weekend. based from Box Office Mojo.
Shrek with $43M and SATC2 with just $32M
Box Office Mojo isn't counting Sex and the City's first day which Thursday.
True, but if you posted that the weekend box office estimates if from may 28-30 then you should not include the thursday's numbers. right?
it's not fair to say that SATC is #1 if you don't count the Thursday gross of Shrek as well and other movies.
It's either make it May 28-30 for ALL movies or May 27-30 for ALL movies.
It's inaccurate to compare one movie with 4 days vs. other movies with 3 days. unless it's a new release on a Friday like Prince of Persia.
If you'll include Shrek's Thursday Gross then it's still # 1 with $47M.
^ You know what, you're right. I'll update it. ;)
I heard Shrek 4 is not really good?
It's easy for a movie in 3D to be first, the tickets are more expensive, so it doesn't have to sell as many tickets to score high!
