Yes, quite a few people care. This album is going to be brilliant, like the majority of her past catalogue of work.
And the Lady Gaga references are tiring, Kelis was dressing whack before Gaga had even finished school (see Get Along With You video, and Kaleidoscope cover). Its just she isn't as popular and mainstream as Gaga so anyone who dresses out of "the norm" and has the spotlight placed on them gets the Gaga comparisons, where if people would do their homework they'd see Kelis is a leader, not a follower.

The UK obviously cares- 'Acapella' is set to debut within the top 5 this week, which is not easy to do these days, especially in the UK!
Plus it's an ace tune - bring on the album!
