Update as to when the other Dolls left the group:
on January 29, 2010 Jessica Sutta revealed she had been ousted from the group. She was quoted saying "Nicole is a star, she always wanted to be the star. I basically felt like nothing more than a glorified back-up dancer after seven years with the group. Nicole sings all of the vocals, it wasn't a joyful experience."
on February 26, 2010 Kimberly Wyatt was the next member to announce her departure from the group. She made the decision before but she stated it officially in the UK Loaded Magazine. She left the group because she wasn't happy of her position in the group stating: "I wish that it was different because I love what we do on stage. I love being a Doll, but as far as variables off-stage are concerned - I just couldn't do it anymore".

ummm i think Melody was the second doll to leave the band. Its only Nicole now
I haven't found any official statements that said Melody has left the group.
I know one thing all the other doll i prefer over nicole so if she gets 3 or 4 new glorified back up dancers it will never be the same as far as im concerned R.I.P Pussycat Dolls so many great memories songs and live performances it will never be the same it was only last year i saw them in concert an now no more :(
Can someone please explain to me why Nicole is such a Spotlight whore? I mean I love Nicole but this side of her wanting be the star and the only star in the group makes me sick and I believe the girls' stories (I'm a few are a bit exaggerated but it's based on actual events).
I wish they would have given more vocals to rest of the Dolls; you guys heard the bonus tracks on Doll Domination, right? each girl got their own song and they were each great proving that they can carry a verse and/or chorus, even a whole track on their own. But wait...what ever happened to Nicole's so call "Her Name is Nicole" album? Nicole released single after single on her own and failed to make an significant success. Could it be that the world is tired of hear to much Nicole? Some advise for Ms. Scherzinger, focus on your album when the times comes but when work in a group we we need to learn how to share. There is no I in team. the name of the groups is Pussycat DOLLS not Pussycat Doll. Ok? Anyone agree with me?
Well, they were a decent guilty pleasure group. Don't Cha, Hush Hush, and I Hate This Part, were okay songs.
Melody was fired. she was the first to leave.
Melody left after Jessica an then it was Kimberley and Ashley
yeah, i agree with nicki and anonymous above nicki. i thought/know melody was on of the first to leave or be fired. i didn't really hear about kim leaving tho. so funny, just last night i was telling my friend how the only doll left was ashley, and now read this! to all the people who keep talking about nicole, nicole IS the pussycat dolls. the group can't make it without her and she obviously can't make it without them. all the girls knew exactly what they were in for when they signed up to be in the PCD music group. they could have left a LONGGG time ago like Carmit did.
