Kellan Lutz for PETA

Well I got into a fight with PETA over Twitter. As much as I support what they do for animals we all have to agree that sometimes they go overboard in protecting them. To the point where they completely abuse human rights for animal rights. It's true. But placing all that aside, let's just focus on the good things PETA does.

Twilight start Kellan Lutz is now added to the list of celebrities who support PETA,

The advertisement features Kellan posed with his first dog, Kola. “She’s my best friend,” he tells PETA. “There are countless numbers of animals out there. It’s our job to take them under our wing.”

Kellan reveals that he found Kola in a shelter, curled up and frightened in the back of a cage. “I touched her toe and said, ‘Hey, what’s your name?’ She spoke to me.” He walked her and fell in love with her on the spot.

“There are surprisingly many animals in these shelters,” Kellan continues. “It’s sad, and knowing that they get euthanized. For the fans of Twilight out there who have so much love, give that love to a pet if you don’t have one."
